Turned this on in my car at a stoplight with the windows down and girls in the car next to me caught me jamming out to the ice train theme. But I kept going with it bc I have no shame when it comes to the Train
ok during the World War 3 recap my favorite thing they didn't mention is when Kurasawa stopped the flow of the ring entrances during the battle royal to do this Thai chi thing and you can see a stage hand tell him to get going with papers in his hand lol
They're right. The WW3 Battle Royals were largely unwatchable because they did the triple split screen and separate commentary teams for each ring who would switch back and forth, but didn't label any of the screens so it was nearly impossible to follow. WCW.
Video games aren't something they care about. Likely they don't remember what video games were popular 19 years ago. WCW also did nothing in story to introduce this change to audiences leading up to the PPV which will just leave the viewing audience confused. His name was still the Yeti until after the PPV. You can't say it's to "capitalise" on Mortal Kombat if they didn't do any advertising for it. People who liked Mortal Kombat wouldn't have bought the PPV for that reason because, as stated previously, no storyline reason for the outfit change existed on any of the five or so shows WCW ran. Ron Reis nor Kevin Sullivan nor Eric Bischoff have never said that this gimmick had anything to do with Mortal Kombat. Ron Reis couldn't wrestle well or implement "ninja moves" well. The outfit is not based on any character design from Mortal Kombat, which is different from what they did later with Glacier. "Super Giant Ninja" came about because Ron Reis was going to play that character anyway, as stated by the man himself. But due to Giant Gonzalez's abscence, he had to pull double duties, which ended up causing the two characters to be fused together due to the lack of Giant Gonzalez. Eric Bischoff likes ninjas, which is why he later pushed the Glacier gimmick so hard. But unlike Glacier, this was just going to be a generic ninja, except played by a very tall man. You're thinking about this backwards. It's not a matter of if he was dressed as Scorpion, or frickin Spongebob. They were asking why was he changed to *anything* at all?

Does anyone ever look up some the highlights or lowlights that they mention? The 2v2 Japanese women’s tag match is, indeed, awesome.
I started watching Nitro and the PPVs with friends

Benoit only did, what he did, because of the CTE he accrued throughout wrestling, that WCW and WWF did nothing about when kept getting injured
