Also look at the snap counts, justin had like 15 the whole preseason caleb has like 45 so he is more prepped in terms of actual snaps played

@@ShooterxMaGavin I think the reason he's still around is he's a friend of Hoge. I just assumed when this first started up that he'd be gone quickly, but here we are. I rarely watch even though I watch basically all Bears content because it's just way too annoying to listen to and watch for the few tidbits of actual Bears insight I get. The Carm nonsense to useful info ratio is just way to out of whack.

Does Eberflus know this didn't work for last year's team. They came out and were flat. Why does 22 year generational talent need a plastic bubble? Tom Brady was right about today's QBs.
Bill Cower was just talking about this and one thing he points out was that when there was four & even six preseason games most of that time was used to evaluate the fringe players. The reason why no team playes their starters is because there’s one less game to evaluate the back end of the roster.
Also, something that you are just going to have to get used to is that the first couple of weeks the ENTIRE league will be flat. It happens every season now and no team comes out firing on all cylinders. Remember a couple of years ago how the Bears won their first game & were 3-2 and had a huge win at New England & beat the 49rs who went in to play in the NFC Championship game. The Bears ended up with the #1 pick so how they start doesn’t really matter, it’s how they finish.
