This is without question my favorite Unicron Theme remix, the tone, the conflict, and even the sense of Pride and Power on the final drop makes this feel truly like I'm there witnessing the titanic moment in which a world is consumed and its people realise there is nothing they can do! This deserves to be in a movie! ...lets hope Bay doesn't do to Unicron what Tim Story did to Galactus in Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Thanks for your comments! I really like the original theme by Vince DiCola and I think there's tremendous potential with this character on screen if done right. Hopefully Steve Jablonsky will throw a nod or two to this theme on occasion.

Also, Galactus needs his ship to convert a planet into pure energy if I'm not mistaken, while Unicron directly devours a planet with his two long horns. So, while Galactus CAN shoot beams out of his eyes and can perform other impressive stuff, Unicron can devour both Galactus and his ship. One last point is that Unicron is shown as the god of destruction and the chaos bringer in all the Transformers continuities, and the god of darkness in many continuities including Transformers Prime
I really really like this. I love what you did with the percussion. My only gripe is perhaps you have too much going on. Part of the beauty of the original was its simplicity, reflecting Unicrons simple driving urge; his hunger. That aside, on a technical level this is great.
Thanks for the comment. I agree, original theme was genius in it's simplicity. I guess I wanted to see how it would sound on a large scale orchestra. I had this scene of the loud chaos on the planet that's being eaten by the Unicron, the feeling of absolute doom, debris and poor victims flying into the void, the destruction of the world. Basically the scene from the beginning of the movie.

Actually, the concept of Unicron being the earth was first introduced in Beastwars neo and later used in Transformers Prime. So, Yeah not really a "nice twist" since it's been done before.

I've heard quite a few covers of this song, and most of them made it sound too upbeat. But this one does actually retain that «oh no, here it comes» mood, and that easily makes it my favourite arrange.
In the 86 movie, Unicron eats non-organic planets, so when he arrives on the big screen in TRANSFORMERS ROTB, he obviously can't eat earth, but at the beginning of the movie, I want it to start like the 86 movie, but he eats a planet like earth, he first emerges from what looks like a supernova, and then slowly approaches a planet that is like it has water volcanoes, forests everything earth has, but as he approaches this planet, the climate on it starts to change, sense unicorn is bigger than a planet his gravity is greater than one too, tornado start to happen on that poor planet tsunami start to rise like never before, volcanoes going off at once, and then earthquakes, we get a concert cities just being ripped out of the ground by the sheer force of his gravity, and then he digs his planet horns, into the planet like he did to lithone, back in the 86 movie, but when he does this planet cracks like an egg, vehicles fall into these cracks into the lava pits below, and then he opens his MAW, and slowly pulls the planet in, now pretty-much, it becomes HELL on this poor planet, THE ONLY DIFFERENCE, is that this hell ends eventually.... So what did you think? I'd like to hear your suggestions of how you think Unicron would consume planets of non-mechanical origin, please tell me.

As Unicron's massive size and threat looms over worlds, I want to feel my chair rumble, feel the pit of my stomach vibrate. This guy is the devourer of worlds! But, I do love the arrangement here. If they ever do an animated or CGI (even though he exists in the Machinisma Power of the Primes series) version of the transformation of Rodimus Prime into Rodimus Unicronus, this would be the ultimate theme for it: *Rodimus is implanted with the Matrix of Chaos and fights the Matrix, trying to prevent Unicron from taking control...* A rescue team of Autobots get to him and know somethings wrong by the way he's acting.. Ultimately he fails and falls down.... "Rodimus? Are you alright... Rodimus Prime? Can you hear us???" "I'M NOT RODIMUS PRIME ANYMORE... I'M RODIMUS UNICRONUS! prepare yourselves...." *Cue this theme as Rodimus Unicronus is revealed*

Unicron isn't some planet size robot that eats planets. He is a God of Chaos and Entropy representing pure evil. Formally a Multiversal Singularity and almost caused the destruction of the Multiverse via The Unicron Singularity (Transformers Cybertron) and The Universe War. He is The Chaos Bringer.
This theme would work well for that scene in IDW comics when both Decepticons and Autobots and their Titans attack Unicron as he’s inching close to Cybertron, resulting in this epic climax finale

Imagine if they simply remade the original movie but with modern CGI in the Bumblebee-movie style. No script changes or additions, just replace the old animation with new. Unicron's opening scene and transformation scenes would be amazing......

Unicron isn't some planet size robot that eats planets. He is a God of Chaos and Entropy representing pure evil. Formally a Multiversal Singularity and almost caused the destruction of the Multiverse via The Unicron Singularity (Transformers Cybertron) and The Universe War. He is The Chaos Bringer.
This theme would work well for that scene in IDW comics when both Decepticons and Autobots and their Titans attack Unicron as he’s inching close to Cybertron, resulting in this epic climax finale

Imagine if they simply remade the original movie but with modern CGI in the Bumblebee-movie style. No script changes or additions, just replace the old animation with new. Unicron's opening scene and transformation scenes would be amazing......

They sort of did in the beginning of time they were the first thing to be created the universe formed around them as they fought but they were laid to rest by there own power sapping away

I can’t be the only one that thinks this kinda sounds like the Terminator theme
Can you just imagine if this version of unicron showed up at earth.While still in planet mode.His saddle would cover all of earth.I also thing he kick off volcanoes and earth quakes.Even the combine efforts of GIJOE and cobra and all of earth armies would not make any difference.!!!"
