Juri RIPPING her rose off was one of the most heartbreaking moments in the series. She had no miracle to fight for anymore and just threw her desire for revolution away. She remained in the cracked shell. GOD, Juri was such a well-written character.
2:30, when Jury's sword touches the ground as she realizes she will never get what she wants.. damn
And the way she staggers, like she's been shot
this was one of the most memorable duels for me. the way it ended was sooo intense

It's one of my favorite too! When I watched the show for the first time, it took me some time to get used to the duel theme songs, but they literally are unique to Utena and have so much meaning and symbolism in it.
You're welcome! I've been uploading some of them because I thought they were a bit harder to find here than the other ones like Tenshi Souzou Sunawachi Hikari. I really love the show, indeed!

I agree wholeheartedly this track and the final duel song are the 2 best songs in the series and its crazy how clear above the rest they are in tempo and feel.
