  • The Gold King Mansion is located at the base of the Hualapai Mountains in Kingman, Arizona. It was built in 1929 and its original purpose was to house workers of the Gold King mine, due to a change in plans it was converted into a residence that was used to wine and dine wealthy investors of the mine and house the foreman of the mine, but unfortunately plans for the Gold King mine didn't go as planned, and the Mansion was quickly abandoned........

    The black and white photo is before they doubled the size added porch and patio, as you say, todays photo shows 5 windows on right side older photo 3 windows, as well as different color in cement wall where they started the addition.

    The real purpose was to mine gold from the investors pockets……….they yeilded way more gold than the mine did!

    As you video walking down to the patio by the rocks you can see the addition wall blocks have a seam between them that's where addition starts.

      I actually click on the link then I message the advertising company to stop advertising the n youtube as I have absolutely zero interest on the garbage products they’re selling.
      Literally it’s a complete waste of resources with most of the absolutely astonishingly abysmal absurd trash they push and then absolutely destroy someone’s video.
      There’s a special place in hell for “marketing bros” and they would be the the very first individuals I would deport instantly!!!
      “I’m jus doin muh jawb” is nolonger an acceptable excuse to leaving a wake of destruction to society in order to “get the girlsies dude bruh”

      @@WannaKnowDetails I used to years ago... I just don't want to give the beta male losers running google/youtube any money. They're about 15-20% of the total reason why the country is circling the toilet bowl. I really wish "guys" that have unresolved MOMMY issues would actually seek therapy/forgiveness of their parental upbringing - rather than - "just" going into big tech and taking out their anger issues upon everyone all while hiding behind: "We're JUST building shareholder value dude bro" and "I'm jus doin muh jawb..."

    3:33 into this video you mention the stairs not being installed in the photo. No mention that the windows plus shape and size of the building has changed as well. A balcony and extra door seem to have appeared as well. Lack of stairs was not what I noticed, fun video thanks.

    So interesting! I’ve always wanted to look for abandoned houses like this out in the mountains! Not sure I remember where the farm land I camped at years ago is but when I find that out I’ll let you know maybe you can do a little adventure out there (Superstition Mountains behind mines for sure)

    Cool. You’d think adventurous people would be responsible and respectful people. Like the morons that go camping with spray paint and marking pens. They’d make for some good mysterious graves with no names.

    Great video, great history. I need to get there one day. A one mile hike does not seem bad. Google maps says it is about 28 miles from my house.

    • @jessiesdroneadventures7464
      @jessiesdroneadventures7464  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It's a fairly mellow hike, and when I went, there was a stream that hugged the trail the majority of the way. Even on a gloomy day, it was still very scenic!

      Better quality video, and this time I found more information on the background of the Mansion/mine that wasn't avaliable at the time I made the last video. Also really wanted to bring attention to the vandalism and how important it is to preserve places like these
