@@ikarosilva4832i disagree. It has far more memorable tracks for sure, but the music for SOR3 is still up there.
@@darkerkyo Not even! Koshiro wasn't very inspired when he created the soundtrack for the third game, he tried to change the style to more techno music but it didn't work out very well. A few songs on the soundtrack are excellent like 'the poets I' but the rest is just random noise. The sound quality of the SORIII has dropped considerably. Listen to Axel's voice shouting "Grand upper" in SORII and listen to the same voice in III... It sounds like he cleared his throat.
How the hell did Yuzo Koshiro THINK of all this??
Yuzo Koshiro got some serious talent with jams for video games. A few of these sounds don't even have the typical instruments you'd here in a Genesis song.
There's a video on YT with him talking about how they came up with everything. They had to get creative with workarounds utilizing his custom PC88. Dude was not only a fantastic composer but also a coder.
