There are 16 triangles. You didn't show the triangle formed by triangles 1 + 9 together, for example. The other three are similar and if you see this one, you'll see the others. I like your videos though, just try to make sure they have the right answers :)
The explaination of 9:40 is not correct as 1+4^(n-1) , n being the position number, would give position 1 a value of 1+4^(0) which is equal to 1+1 as anything to the power of 0 is 1 not 0.
