I’m looking forward to this car in Europe, I think it’s got good space and very high quality. This new generation of Honda products are so likeable
I prefer the look of the North American version. It has a more wagon/less SUV look about it. Americans seem to really love this HR-V model.. Honda can't make enough of them.

Honda has this generation some really nice, practical, correct and honest interior/exterior ... well done for them ;)
Firstly I have to say that Thomas is my favourite no-nonsense alternative to the "I`m the star " reviewers. He just tells it as it is, which is what I want and need. The car I`ve just ordered the ZR-V Advance ( UK version ), is the third car I have test driven after seeing his reviews; and then purchased. I just wish there was a "mini" Thomas that I could throw detailed questions at. Like; where is the Obd2 port. Why isn`t the passenger seat height adjustable. This can make a difference to buying a car or not. Thanks to Autogefuehl.
There is one more advantage compared to european HRV - bigger engine. 1.5 eHEV vs 2.0 eHEV ;)
This is a good example of why chrome is important.
Australia have just gotten this as the ZR-V. We also have a different HR-V.
Still reflector led headlights, unbelievable
The hybrid drivetrain in the European HRV is too weak for Autobahn driving.
I look forward to this one coming to Europe! :)

@@mjuresic They have to build multiple options for multiple tastes. No company will build the perfect car, it's against their interests. There is always a compromise for each model...

Totally agree, Thomas! European HR-V is the better vehicle. It also looks much better inside (higher quality, cleaner design) and outside (subjective, of course). And - it is built in Japan. And thanks to the magic seats you can use the passenger cabin to carry stuff (even under the seats). Can´t wait to pick up my HR-V in January 😃

European HRV has a much lower roof, egress & ingress a lot worse than USA / ZR-V even for 5foot7, let alone 6foot. 1.5 litre NA engine available in Japan/ some asian market makes it v sluggish, 0-62mph in 13 seconds! Those are deal breaker for me
Very interesting comparison. Perhaps the slightly larger vehicle appeals to the US market?! Not sure what the advantage is over the CRV for the European market though. I think I prefer the European HRV though (although the larger boot would be nice!) well I would because I get mine on Thursday!😀(Crystal red)

The EU version is based on the current Fit/Jazz . The Fit was discontinued in North America in 2020. Current HR-V is on the same platform as the 22 Civic.

While I'm a huge fan of Honda new design direction, I'm not so keen on this at all. Looks like a 90s Ford facelift.

I like this ZRV, it reminds me of old HRV, esp interior, which is great. The design is much nicer than both new HRV and cheap looking new CRV. The interior materials and body panels on new Hondas are cheap and thin compared to pre covid era Hondas. We have the old HRV and mum in law has new HRV by comparison

Prefer the exterior design of the european hrv though
the same 💩with the length for the Kia Sportage, the european one is a lot shorter and with less cargo space but the good thing that we must pay more money in europe for the smaller car 😓.

Well, the current European HR-V got only 4 stars in EuroNCAP and the higher seating position means taller people have more problems with sitting in the back. I hope they bring the Japanese front design and not the American front design to Europe. The Japanese one looks much better in my opinion.

Side looks a lot like the Macan. Might be Hondas best looking vehicle in NA. Interior is parts bin dull

ZRV, in USA HRV, sieht fast genau gleich wie ein Ford Kuga Hybrid aus.
Color pick for demo car is a huge miss from Honda. Impossible to see any of the design. 😂

The dealbreaker for me about the new HR-V are the small boot and the weak engine. A bigger boot and a bigger more powerfull engine (hybrid) is only good news. Another + is that the ZR-V is on the Civic platform. As a father of one this is only postives. Looks are subjective.

Absolutely don't understand the logic of this vehicle in the US market. They killed the Fit in North America - then proceed make a heavier, fatter HR-V that can really just be a CR-V. The magic seat that made the Fit and HRV special are gone.
Just another bland SUV.
