Probably the easiest Royal Blood song to play on bass, however I really liked the cover and the sound was very faithful to the original. Good work and keep doing Royal Blood covers
This is absolute FIRE. Ive never seen a cover with such passion and pedal magic. Im glad we seen more than just 1 sad shot of your legs and half a bass. You get one Loyal sub
Ah thank you man, much appreciated! Yeah it’s a great bass! I could be wrong but I think they’re weirdly discontinued cause I’ve seen ones similar to it but none with the same configuration of controls. Makes it feel special lol
@@finnj_ Just stopped by for another listen. Man you've really nailed the tones. Great work!! I've slowly amassed a bunch of pedals to do these tricks now. For a guitar player... I'm having WAY too much fun playing bass! I might never go back!!
I love the nasty tone man!! I see the volume knob is around 8-9 o clock and the tone knob is around 2-3 o clock.. what setting is the sustain knob on if you don’t mind me asking?
@@gooddeedsgone1018 oh god it was more than a year ago but from what I vaguely remember, I basically had the bridge pickup on full and the neck on about 7/8. Then with the Fuzz sustain at about 1 o' clock. I hope this helped and thanks for enjoying the video :)
Ay thank you! Oh jeez, I basically used my entire pedal board for this video 😂 So yeah I used: a BOSS chromatic tuner, a EHX big muff triangle, a EHX nano POG, a TC electronic grand magnus, an overdrive pedal (I genuinely have no idea what it is 😂), a BOSS Super Shrifter and finally a Digitech whammy ricochet.
Probably the greatest cover I’ve seen of Boilermaker well done
Jeez, thank you! I genuinely appreciate that!
Check out “Fraser Charleson”, he uses a guitar similar to what Mike uses now for boilermaker.
Its the only one
Holy shit that's the energy and feeling I'm looking for when playing this song. Cheers mate you nailed down to a T
So glad I found you mate, I LOVE your energy!!
It's obvious that you love what you do
Ay cheers man, really appreciate it!
I do and hope I can continue it.
Interesting name btw
