Guys, if you have the exact similar GPU as mine (Galax RTX2060 mini), I suggest you send it back to manufacturer for warranty. They admitted that this model has the unsolvable black screen issue. After the 3rd RMA, they replaced and sent back another model of RTX2060 mini (probably the newer batch), and it works without any issue until now.
Summary of what I found and learned from other people's experience, there are some possible causes of this.
    1) Overheat - Low quality thermal paste / over-aged thermal paste
    2) Power pins - Not proper connected (It is still able to run, but when it needs more power supply, exact black screen full fan speed happens)
    3) Underpower PSU - PSU can't supply enough power for what your PC requires
    4) Driver issue - Very less possible
    5) Overclock - Very less possible
    6) Faulty GPU card - My current issue
For those who tune down the GPU clock, I don't think that is the proper solution, as your GPU is design to run normally without tuning it down unless by default it is already overclocked. Although that is one of the way to prevent this issue to occur again, but tuning it down to lower clock than the actual spec is like you are paying more money for a lower spec GPU.

@AADITHYA J The last replacement, they replaced a new GPU card for me, but different one. The color is different, but spec and size are same (mini).
And yes, it is working properly until now.
It took almost 2 months for the last replacement.
      Good luck

GUYS I FIXED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL WHAT I HAD TO DO WAS INCREASE THE POWER LIMIT FOR THE GPU! IT NEEDED MORE POWER BUT THE LIMIT WAS NOT ALLOWING IT!
After changing my PSU from 500W to 700W the issue kept on happening. I tried Increasing the fan speed, the issue kept on happening (Only when I had it at 100% it didnt) and it was really noisy. i was about to change my GPU but I just increased the power limit percentage in my AMD software and games ran smoothly! GPU needed about 20 to 30 watts more.

I had same issue with RTX 2080 TI it has 2x8pin power connections. If use connectors from same branch there is not enought power left for fans to operate full speed, so it detects it as faulth and protects GPU. Solution is to take one connection from different branches. There something similar here, just dont use that silly cable extension, only strate PSU to GPU connection with 8pin connector.

  • @flows6810
    @flows6810 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

SOLVED!! Its the power connectors to the graphics card. I checked and found that they weren't properly seated. The connector plugs themselves are weird, The input is 8 pin (and there's two of them - 2X8) but the connector is a six pin and a separate 2 pin that have to be meshed together before plugging into the GTX 1080. I found that in my case the two plugs weren't properly meshed together and as a result the two pin portion of the plug was not fully plugged in to the card. Once I unplugged and re-plugged them properly I no longer had the problem.

I solved it I hope this comment will help you.
First this problem happens because of many reasons. IN some cases your psu, ram or gpu defected So check that out first but if there's no problem like that and your new pc working perfectly and automatically this problem happend then keep reading the comment here's I solved it for myself there's no solution online, some says use afterburner maximize temperature minimize clocks something like that. Don't Use all this It's not a proper solution and you give your money for getting the best gaming experience from your gpu so why should you reduce its performance?? Yea and if your gpu is too old maybe thermal paste will solve your problem.
So Guys first remove your gpu and clean your pc parts there should be no dust now replace your gpu properly *This problem happens because your 8 pin power connector is loose so when replacing gpu tightly connect your 8 pin power [PCI-E] connector with gpu, look at your 8 pin or which one you have is damaged or not if damaged change it and if you have 2 8 pin power connectors with your psu then use the power connector which is not connected to your gpu for ex. If you connected your gpu with 1st 8 pin connector then remove it and now connect the 2nd 8 pin power connector tightly this time*
Now start your pc, update all drivers, windows everything *There should be no viruses in your pc. Don't download crack games because they will run bit coin miner in your system and your cpu + gpu uses goes automatically 100% of use when connected to Internet and it shows some chrome tabs when you open your chrome you can see that your original chrome tabs are different from these malicious tabs in task manager that's not chrome tabs its a bit coin miner so when you remove these viruses this problem will automatically solved*
Hope This will help because My pc is working without any problem like this by doing these solutions 100% working my experience.

I am not a hardware expert, but if you suspect your GPU is having issue, the best way is to plug in to another equivalent or higher spec of desktop and try it. If blackscreen happens again, very high chance is your GPU is faulty. Try to find any of your friend, borrow their PC to replace this GPU card in to test out.

I solved this issue with MSI Afterburner. I have the same card and this happend to me twice. One time inside warranty timeframe on onetime outside of warranty timeframe with the replaced card. In my observation the problem seems to be with the nvidia gpu boost technology where the gpu clock goes over the manfacturer stated boostclock. The nvidia boost clock technology seems to reduce the lifespan of some voltage regulating components and mosfets. My solution are the following afterburner setting. Reduce powerlimit to 80%. In the voltage curve editor you have to flatten the curve at manfacturer stated boost clock or reference card boost clock to disable the nvidia boost technology. So now your gpu works under constant voltage and mhz load without the spikes. In my opinion this is planned obsolecence. Maybe these options helps someone. GPU Boost technology is bad in my opinion.

    Updating all drives. Didnt work.
Elimating the some errors from the event viewer. Didnt work.
Checking the cables, cleaning the computer. Didnt work.
Later I will try benchmarking with the MSI Afterburner logging and check the temperatures. I believe that something caused GPU to fail and it is damaged. The GPUs doesnt fail instantly and they fail part by part.

Last Edit: 14.02.2020 Now cant even browser the web, after the opening the computer it goes to black screen after 30 min. Heat is not problem. According to MSI bus usage goes to millions. It is getting worse day by day.

I'm having the same problem,I undervolted it at t's minimum and it only crashes when the graphics card's GPU goes 1500+MHz and the memory goes 4000+MHz, if it reaches that point, the display will turn black and the graphics card's fans will spin at a 100%. I think the PSU is faulty so I have to change it to know, but I'll have to test the graphics card first in my friends rig.
My PC is rather old by now, here are the specs:
    -Intel core I5 4690k
    -12GB HyperX DDR3 ram
    -MSI H81M-P33 Mobo
    -EVGA GTX 770 SC 4GB
    -Coolermaster G650M PSU
I don't think it's the ram, nor the GPU since it's not overheating, the temps stay at 50 to 70 celsius when playing games like Valorant which is running at high settings.

Well... darn it, I have the same issue. I fire up Conan Exiles and after I enter the server I play on the screens go black, the fans on the graphics card speed up and can be heard from across the room, but the game is still playing. I can still hear it playing through my speakers but the graphics card has shut off the monitors. I have tried updating Windows 10 64-bit, and the drivers and software for my Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3gb but it hasn't helped. This started about a week or so ago. Sometimes I can play for hours but recently I can't even get into the game. Last night I took my PC apart, cleaned all the dust out and put it all back together again. I thought it fixed the issue because I was able to get in and play for about an hour but then it happened again. Now it constantly blacks out when I'm connecting to the game server.
I am about to shut down my PC and try a few things.
First, I will swap the cable that powers the video card. That's the poor man's solution... maybe.
Second, if the first doesn't work then I'll drop in a different PSU (ya, I'm one of "those" people who just happens to have a spare).
I will respond to my comment if either of these fixes the problem (assuming I can find this video again).

But it did not happened in my other crack game when full installing together with extension multiple ms visual studio, game direct x file and more depends on the game.
