I suppose the Best speaker award is to pertain to the literal construction plus style of delivery of the speech, not so much as to the weight of the arguments or its strength as is. CorJesu 1st speaker has the latter (definitely!) but the attitude in the delivery of Lasalle 3rd gave it away.
La Salle wasn't prepared with the facts presented by Cor Jesu. De Lasalle's Third Negative cross examination of the third affirmative was very weak. So weak. He's just asking stupid questions just for the sake of asking and then the time Third Affirmative cross examined him he asked for enlightenment. (But I commend him for his constructive speech)
