Yup I agree, as a history buff, it is very important to teach about our history. Our past wasn't perfect, at times it was dark, and facts are hard to swallow. But, you can either run from it...or learn from it
Great to see you began & ended the week with my suggestions. Better still, you took us to somewhere I had never even heard of, but that looks fascinating. Great shots across the river from the stone terrace in the park, as well as all those plants. 😊
Yay, Wave Hill. Good stuff. Suggestion: Go to the north end of the 4 train in the Bronx to the Woodlawn station, and you can explore Woodlawn Cemetery, whose entrance is right there on Jerome Ave. Just as cool as Greenwood, and arguably more statues and mausoleums. We go there a lot, like a little quiet city all its own.
LETS GO! Marble Hill is my station for Metro North. Riverdale is where my old school was. Nice that you did more of Metro North! I'm gonna post a video tomorrow at Marble Hill too. 9:07 Yes, that is a Low-V. That train was used in a Fantrip that happened recently on the (2) line.
I have a TSN for the Bronx! Go on the Harlem Bound Metro North Train and go to Yankee Stadium There transfer to the uptown (4) train to Kingsbridge road! There is the Kingsbridge armory a very old building dating back to the late 1800s and served in wars too! It would be amazing if you went! Thanks Suprtoe!
Here's a new TSN: start at Barclay's Center and take the (4) to Yankees. Transfer there to the (D) to Fordham Road. Walk to Webster Avenue to Fordham and take the Metro-North Harlem line to White Plains, explore the train station and finally head to the Galleria White Plains Mall Love your WTNs and TSNs btw 👏🏽👏🏽
@@SuprToe Aww Thank you! I did see that you was looking up places on why it was made or the history of it and you took 1 train so I wanted it to make it 2 trains!
TSB to Toms River NJ Riverdale-PABT via Grand Central MNR and 7 PABT-Lakewood Bus Terminal NJT 139 Lakewood Bus Terminal-Toms River Park and Ride NJT 67
Great video content. However can you use the fast motion sparingly? It makes it difficult to watch on a big screen. Perhaps you can edit out those segments and take things more slowly to match real time movement.
GO USE THE J and M shuttle bus. Use the shuttle bus to the 1 train station Use the 1 train to Fulton street Use the A train to Bway JCT. Use the J shuttle bus to Myrtle avenue. Use the M shuttle bus to Myrtle Wyckoff Use the L train to Metropolitan Lorimer ave Use the G train to Broadway Or just use the M bus to Myrtle Wyckoff.
The question why 103rd street asked at (2:50). I don't see an answer given all these months, and to get overly analytical.. It is likely that street # due to station spacing goals and competing subway companies just copying what was done first. 96th and 110th streets make sense as those are on or next to major roads across central park. That leaves a large 14 street gap between. So if you find the middle it's 103.. And once one company did it it was logical enough that all other parallel lines also just choose 103rd because others were doing it and it was a midpoint. So unless there is some other large reason found otherwise that's probably why they're all 103rd.
Take The Metro North From Riverdale To Grand Central, 5 Train To Fulton Street, A Train To Hoyt - Schermerhorn, G Train To Church Avenue, And F Train To Coney Island - Stilwell Avenue.
First, you take Metro North to Harlem - 125, then walk to Lex-125 for the (5). You would then have to travel to 86th, then get on a Bronx bound (6) to Pelham.
At least the R46 didn’t have any criminals to kill you and you got a cool trip better then what I suggested, I prayed you’d get an R179 but you didn’t but you’ll get one some time, that garden was beautiful especially with that George us view of the Hudson I’ll have to go there once. Now, will you post once, twice, thrice, 4 times or 5 times a week, will you post Saturday, Monday and Thursday? Please let me know in a comment.
bro you gotta chill with the info, it's just like too much. like i think we all know what the GWB is. the artwork info was chill, maybe having it a couple of times an episode for niche things is fine, but this wikipedia stub for like everything is making it near unwatchable. keep up the good work otherwise though!
Love the WTN and TSN vids. As a native new yorker you make me want to get out and explore places im not familiar with

Been to Wave Hill, It is a nice garden but to the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy in Yonkers is worth a visit. Also Prospect Park in Brooklyn.

Can I suggest this week New Jersey and for next episode shuttle van to riverside and the Hudson line to grand central
That design feature on the gate is to prevent fare evaders from opening it from the outside which was possible.
Suggestion for next challenge : Take 2 Trains every day to a popular place with a good backstory or why it was made!
I'm so pleased to see this suggestion. That's literally my next planned series! Gonna call it FACTastic.

In station speakers sound like a bus station, where the ticket agent is trying to yell out the bus calls while selling tickets, via a crappy megaphone
TSN:
Metro - North to Yankees E 153rd St
(D) to Norwood-205 St
TSB to Toms River NJ
Riverdale-PABT via Grand Central MNR and 7
PABT-Lakewood Bus Terminal NJT 139
Lakewood Bus Terminal-Toms River Park and Ride NJT 67

Not the Low V, it’s the BMT Standards IIRC
Marble Hill is my childhood Station and keep up the good work :)
Thanks, will do!
Random suggestion: LIRR to Valley Stream
Thanks for the shootout at the beginning of the video
Why not LIRR to lynbrook
Are you doing valley stream because you want to see him
I do to
I really can’t believe that it’s been like a month of this lol
There are R142 1 trains and R142 4 trains. There are also R62 4 trains.

It was my sister graduation on June 17
a man just died rn after falling between the gap of a train
I know! Horrible! MTA and NYPD seem to have different versions of what happened.
TSN: Take the BX7 bus to 231st street
Oooo! Yes please! That's actually my bus route, also one of my favorites. 231st Street is amazing. It's my stop on the (1) too
GO USE THE J and M shuttle bus.
Use the shuttle bus to the 1 train station
Use the 1 train to Fulton street
Use the A train to Bway JCT.
Use the J shuttle bus to Myrtle avenue.
Use the M shuttle bus to Myrtle Wyckoff
Use the L train to Metropolitan Lorimer ave
Use the G train to Broadway
Or just use the M bus to Myrtle Wyckoff.
For the next time you wanna escape NYC in your vids you should take the LIRR from East New York to Hempstead.

Wow, feels weird not having your daily WTNs and TSNs because your uploading less often
Why does the banner says (1) and (C) train since it should be (C) and (1) train?
Random Suggestion
(B) from Dekalb Ave to 42 St-Bryant Park
14:11 you can see the gogosupertoe the man him self
WTN: Take The Metro North From Marble Hill To Harlem 125 St Then Walk To 125 Street And Take The (6) Train From 125 Street to Pelham Bay Park
Hey could you take the train or bus back to any (1) train subway station then take the (1) back down to 191st street and explore it! Hehe! 😳
The Wedding March?
Take The Metro North From Riverdale To Grand Central, 5 Train To Fulton Street, A Train To Hoyt - Schermerhorn, G Train To Church Avenue, And F Train To Coney Island - Stilwell Avenue.
Also, I moved ip to Riverdale from Spuyten Duyvil in March and now I use the Riverdale stop on Metro North.
For next trip: Take (5) train to 125th Street and take (6) train to Pelham Bay Park.
First, you take Metro North to Harlem - 125, then walk to Lex-125 for the (5). You would then have to travel to 86th, then get on a Bronx bound (6) to Pelham.
and tyyyy
