Lan Xichen's flute sadly no one knows like a separate? Hearing? Of it alone Edit: does no one still not know what the play notes are for Lan Xichens flute playing when all three of them were playing music to subdue the corpse wielding the jian like a saber.. I also love this scene 1:19:10 I swear they always make good music and animations and this one 1:17:16 Even more so I'm glad Wen Ning exposed the truth of how Jiang Cheng was able to pull out Wei Yings sword. And why Wei Ying had come to how he was. But he turned evil power into using it for good

I'm not a huge fan of shounen-ai series' but this series was done really well. The action scenes were awesome. Another plus are the bishies in here. Lots of eye candy. After watching all three seasons, I give this series 4 stars.

I am still of two minds about this donghua. On one hand, I really, really like all the action and the special effects, not to mention the take on the characters. On the other, the changes in the events hit me as wrong. I understand that the donghua is based on the novel and isn't the novel. I do like it. But for me the changes, especially in the Yi city arc, the GuanYin Temple and the Core reveal, are just not quite right. Finally, going by the script of the donghua, JC going into seclusion and LXC staying out, is a nice touch and a good idea, but it is so out of character. Still I enjoyed watching the highlights very much! Thank you!

Everyone here is adoring the main couple But me: Feeling really hurt for Cheng Poor soul lost his whole family, lost his core to protect Wie, has to raise a child and an entire sect alone. Was misunderstood the entire novel and never get the light till the end. Hmm you are to kind to this character. From young age till the end he never stood up for his nephew. He always let his mother bullying him. He always found others opinions more important than his nephew. Instead of working harder he blamed his nephew. Even his father warned him multiple times that he did not get it. He did not get the family motto, he did not get it to be a better man. He was and is truly the lesser man. In spirit, kindness, intelligence and in talent. Jealousy is not a talent. And what happened to his family and him was mostly karma.

In the novel, those clans accused wei ying and trapped him because they thought with wei ying jiang will be the most powerful clan leader. So that's why he doesn't deserve to be hero.

When Wei Ying decided to part ways with the Jiang Sect, Jiang Cheng stabbed him and said he was the enemy of the cultivation world. Like holy shit, my dude, way to make things worse for the guy you owe your Golden Core to. Then, of course, we have the murder of the innocent Wen Remnants. And there's the 12 y murder spree post Wuxian death, and the fact that Jin Ling's upbringing is about as good as Jiang Cheng's own was. Also - most trauma? Really? Try being an abused child, becoming an organ donor without anesthetic, then being thrown into hell, then becoming a scapegoat for every single crime in the world. Even if you like Jiang Cheng, there's no world where he suffered more than Wei Ying. He's not a hero, and I remain of the opinion that if anyone says that, their perspective is likely focused on the far milder character in the live action adaptation, and even in the donghua.

He never saw Wei ying as a brother, just as a subordinate, and expected him to be his emotional support animal for the rest of his life. Even Yanli said to everyone Wei ying was her brother, but Jiang Cheng couldn’t even say that to Wei ying himself. My other problem with Jiang Cheng is his attitude with his nephew. He had a shitty childhood being treated like theta by his mom, yet proceeded to do the same shit with his nephew? Also having the audacity to drag Wei ying’ s name through the mud to his nephew, lying that he killed his mother. He did this because he needed an excuse to justify hating Wei ying. I do think that if Jin ling knew the truth from the start, he wouldn’t understand how Jiang Cheng could turn his back on Wei ying who was like his brother, and wouldn;t understand how he could be so selfish and invalidate everyone else’s trauma, acting like he’s the only one who suffered. I guarantee Jin ling would have been appalled finding out that Jiang Vheng backstabbed the people who saved his life (Wen ning and his sister) just because their last name is Wen, and let inncoent people die, simpky for the same reason, having wen blood. Hell they would have killed Ayuan if wei ying didn't hide him, a fucking child. Every single clan leader that participated in that proporstorus murder of thos innocent people are abominations to society, monsters. They act like they have the right to decide who lives or dies.
