I know composition, lighting, framing etc. Wrong, after 3 dream snap weeks I’m still struggling. But, it’s my favorite thing to do in dreamlight so far.
I put a time limit on my work of no more than 10-15 minutes on a dream snap. My results have varied 900-4000 and I'm fine with it because I'm not spending too much time on it.

The video about the special effects is a must have! Also some tips and tricks on involve 3+ critters (hiding a critter house from the main scene) would be greatly appreciated 👍
I think the tips were great, but without having your tags high enough you risk your dream snap tanking when all is said and done. For the past several weeks I've seen some gorgeous dream snaps having all the bells and whistles in design just bomb because they don't regard tags as being part of the scoring. I've also seen some with high tags fail in scoring too. I feel that is because Gameloft puts voting in as a duty with this last Star Path. Last week was the final stretch for completion of the Star Path and I am sure a great many who voted was only doing so to get through the Star Path. Voting for any old thing that popped up in voting for the first few clicks rather than really looking at each dream snap. Many other factors plays a role when it comes to designing a "perfect" dream snap. A lot more than the 5 steps to perfection.
If someone is in the shop and someone is in their house, I hang out with the shop one, and with them I go into the house of the other, then back outside. Most times they’ll come out of their house with you
I remember when we discovered the butterfly trick but I totally forgot about it, good reminder. I think to save some frustration maybe if you're going to count more than one character in your shot that you plan to build it around their schedule so you don't run into the house/store/restaurant situation. I don't usually go that far but I'm not a character wrangler/includer. Great video, I do want to use that butterfly trick soon!
I spent 5 hours, The Waste completely changed to Desert temple (using the desert house). And i got minimum rankings because i don't have the Monsters inc wardrobe that is above intern/student. I hope my background wins.

I admire you trying to help people improve their DreamSnaps, and you have some great tips. I love what you said at the beginning about the tips improving one's chances at getting 4k, but your thumbnail is a bit clickbaity. There is no perfect DreamSnap, there is no way to guarantee 4k and there are certainly more than 5 things involved. Another important step in choosing location is leaving room for hidden tags bc TAGS MATTER. Even if you don't believe that, what's the harm in maxing them out just in case?
@@mrStarInSky Oh yeah, I agree. You have great tips, and I think it will help some people. It's just the thumbnail I didn't like. I have stopped watching other creators who constantly use clickbait for more views. It might draw some people, but it could push away others. Just my opinion. 🙂
What I started doing is figuring out which clothes have higher weight, I am doing this by resetting my red chests, the clothing that comes last is the clothing I choose (if it fits the theme) as it'd have the biggest "weight". Just to be extra prepared 😂
For this weeks challenge I dressed up as a sweet monster (I called her the party monster) so the different treats tee, cupcake skirt and wearing the sully gear, changing my skin and took a pic with sully. I put candle sticks in front of her so it looks like she’s ready to light a cake 😂

I got my first 4k on dreamsnaps! I was shocked and so excited. I hope I do decent on the the monsters Inc one as well.
