Ester van Valkenburg The Netherlands entry was better performed. BUT the song itself is generic and bland, like the rest of eurovision. Which is fine, its what you expect from eurovision. But Soldi almost felt like it shouldn’t be in eurovision, because its of a higher quality.

Hi, I'm an Italian girl and I saw many comments from foreign people who obviously don't understand the song and therefore can't understand the deep meaning so I chose to write it in English. The song of Mahmood tells his sad story of the father who left him and his mother to make a good life in Egypt and now the same father wants to reconnect with the rest of the family just for money. In general I think that his victory has been well deserved, the song and the rhythm included melody are very original and the deep meaning is amazing. Les paroles des chansons de Mahmood sont très "récit de vie", c'est-à-dire autobiographiques (son histoire de vie, c'est le sujet qu'il peut maîtriser le mieux). Dans "Soldi", il exprime surtout son mécontentement, sa rage vis-à-vis de son père du fait que celui-ci, ayant quitté le foyer familial et laissé tomber la famille (son fils et la mère de son fils), la retrouvait de temps en temps pour lui demander de l'argent. Au-delà de cette thématique, l'artiste dit dans la plupart de ses interviews que l'argent modifie les interactions familiales, les sentiments envers autrui. A bientôt ! Un bacione.

Io non so se ad altre persone fa lo stesso effetto, ma quando inizia la parte che dice "È difficile stare al mondo quando perdi l'orgoglio" mi viene un brivido. Mi ricorda molto una frase del film Educazione Siberiana, in cui nonno Kuzhja insegna ad un giovane Kolima : "La fame viene e scompare. Ma la dignità, una volta perduta, non torna mai più". Si parla della dignità. Quella che, giorno dopo giorno, ci stiamo dimenticando per ragionare con la pancia invece che con la testa. Mi rattrista constatare che tutto il polverone sollevatosi intorno a questo ragazzo, che è riuscito a dare vita ad una canzone bella, in ogni senso possibile, sia la fotografia emblematica del popolino che avevamo dimenticato di essere nelle viscere. Piccolo , gretto e che per non provare vergogna della sua stessa ignoranza dà all'untore, vero o più probabilmente immaginario che sia. La canzone emoziona, e ben venga qualcosa che ci scuota dal torpore morale in cui siamo finiti negli ultimi tempi. Semplicemente, una canzone che contiene "la tua voce che mi dice BU" non mi trasmette niente e non avrebbe rappresentato la parte dell'Italia che non la vuole sempre vinta facile, che non punta al melenso per compiacere le folle. @@taniabonzano9040 Suele pasar en todos los países, que no se aprecia mucho mientras que en los otros países todos lo alaban. En España pasa lo mismo con Miki y en el resto de Europa está bastante bien aceptado. Esto se debe a que dentro del país cada uno tiene su favorito y que afuera se apoya porque ha sido la canción elegida. Yo sinceramente creo que Italia entera debe de estar bien orgullosa Porque lleváis un temazo.

Les paroles des chansons de Mahmood sont très "récit de vie", c'est-à-dire autobiographiques (son histoire de vie, c'est le sujet qu'il peut maîtriser le mieux). Dans "Soldi", il exprime surtout son mécontentement, sa rage vis-à-vis de son père du fait que celui-ci, ayant quitté le foyer familial et laissé tomber la famille (son fils et la mère de son fils), la retrouvait de temps en temps pour lui demander de l'argent. Au-delà de cette thématique, l'artiste dit dans la plupart de ses interviews que l'argent modifie les interactions familiales, les sentiments envers autrui. A bientôt ! Un bacione.

Io non so se ad altre persone fa lo stesso effetto, ma quando inizia la parte che dice "È difficile stare al mondo quando perdi l'orgoglio" mi viene un brivido. Perché ricordo a me stessa quanto sia importante la dignità, e non ci sono né fame né miseria che possano scalfirla.
Mi ricorda molto una frase del film Educazione Siberiana, in cui nonno Kuzhja insegna ad un giovane Kolima : "La fame viene e scompare. Ma la dignità, una volta perduta, non torna mai più".
Si parla della dignità. Quella che, giorno dopo giorno, ci stiamo dimenticando per ragionare con la pancia invece che con la testa.
Mi rattrista constatare che tutto il polverone sollevatosi intorno a questo ragazzo, che è riuscito a dare vita ad una canzone bella, in ogni senso possibile, sia la fotografia emblematica del popolino che avevamo dimenticato di essere nelle viscere. Piccolo , gretto e che per non provare vergogna della sua stessa ignoranza dà all'untore, vero o più probabilmente immaginario che sia.
La canzone emoziona, e ben venga qualcosa che ci scuota dal torpore morale in cui siamo finiti negli ultimi tempi.
Semplicemente, una canzone che contiene "la tua voce che mi dice BU" non mi trasmette niente e non avrebbe rappresentato la parte dell'Italia che non la vuole sempre vinta facile, che non punta al melenso per compiacere le folle.
Certe cose vanno prese di muso, a rischio di far incarognire chi vorrebbe il silenzio di convenienza, che tanto comodo fa per continuare a crogiolarsi nelle proprie illusioni.
