Yeah, the sane thing to do is to judge the economy at large and corrupt politicians, catering to billionaires instead of helping working families. There are lots and lots of people in equal living conditions all over the industrialised, so called developed countries. None of us should ever judge a family for the macro circumstances they have to face.

I am so sad that this is what a young family has to rely on to have a happy (healthy!) family home. The stress on this (former) military family must be immense. I am so happy the team Mr. Kate was able to give them this! It's absolutely beautiful. The fact that the dad said the whole atmosphere was different before he has even opened his eyes says it all.
This was a really emotional episode, you could just tell from her tears how grateful she was. I love Mr Kate for many reasons, but they really do change lives! Peoples homes are so important to make happy families, and I could just tell this family needed this. 💓

I love this I know how they feel I use to live in a ugly garage with my husband and baby with his family and even though they were family it wasn’t the same I always wanted my privacy and my own space there was always little fights because it was their house and I remember I would cry because I was always in a small space with my baby wishing I can have more space for my family this is beautiful I wish I could have seen this video back then love this channel it changes lives ❤️

This is insane, this is the EXACT situation I’m in with my son and my Wife. Right down to the converted garage. We have to find somewhere to move soon but that’s so incredible to me that there are others in such a similar situation. Definitely makes us feel less alone as a family.

Can I just say in this hectic time we are living in, it's so nice to be able to watch you guys. You can tell with all your videos what kind hearted people you are. It can seem like a small thing redoing someone's room (or viewers at home redoing their own) but really it makes a HUGE impact. Being able to relax and feel at peace in your own space- it's the best feeling. Anyway just wanted to say thank you guys and keep being awesome!!

It would probably be a bit easier to avoid living on the cusp of homelessness if they didn't have a child. Seems like a lot of people in poverty choose to have a lot of kids... I just don't understand the logic there.

I'm always touched by these videos but I literally teared up at this one. I remember my parents (both army veterans) and I sharing a single bedroom in my grandma's house for 6 years until I was 10 years old. Having my own bed was a foreign concept, let alone my own room or even a nook in a room. What you guys did for this family is absolutely beautiful and these videos are so inspiring, I'm so glad I subscribed to you all because this is the quality content I love seeing.

Mr. Kate I love you guys! Not just for decorating peoples homes but for the education you all do. My fiancé and I are in our first apartment, and neither of us have ever lived in a house, especially a decorated one, so your rental videos have helped me turn my apartment into a cozy home.

Exactly, my exact thoughts. I love them so much more for doing this for them. Also, to fit everything there like this... The talent of Mr Kate and Joey. In Poland we have this tv show where they help families with really bad living condition. This reminded me of that. I am really so happy that they are giving back like this. So grateful that they helped them.

I cried at the reveal because I could see HOW DAMN MUCH this room transformation meant for them. Mariana was so grateful to finally have some order and have her own space after living in a small space. It was almost like she was suppressing all her creative weirdo-ness because she had to think about the two other people sharing that space with her and mr.kate found that beautiful balance to let her personality shine as well as be harmonious with the needs of her husband and the cute wittle baby. I'm so emotional right now k bye 😭❤️
I think this was mr. Kate's best makeover EVER. not only because they nailed the functionality, but especially because you can tell how it affected the family!! Its so much better when you guys do great things for "real ppl" instead of rich youtubers... lol

After binging several episodes of Mr. Kate, this one definitely showed how well they listen to their clients. Everything from extra storage, a girly space, to even touches that weren't exactly asked for such as the toddler bed. This allows them to sleep more comfortably and gives them some privacy back in a smaller space. Awesome job!!!

I really enjoyed watching this video where the family really deserved it rather than other youtubers, this got me in the feels as for a while our 4 person family had to live out of 1 tiny bedroom that could only fit a bed, cot and 1 shelf with no walking room for over a year. Having young children and being forced to live in such a small space can be so much harder than people image, so this family really deserved this
I agree. But just for perspective, I think their work for other youtubers isn’t free. I think those paid collaborations are part of what makes these videos possible.
I think what they do for youtubers helps them gain popularity and also allows them to spend much more, since youtubers probably pay for it. I wonder if they discuss prices beforehand or just present them with a total, lol

What an amazing job for such sweet people. The detail! Like the teddy bear inscribed with Daniel's name. The hangers she made for the. Jewelry really worked out well, and I was at first skeptical. Good vision and a good job. Mr. Kate is getting better and better.
This episode was a mixed bag for me. Great work by Mr. Kate's team, and I'm so happy this family was chosen! What brings me down is the fact that the living standard of such a large part of Americans has been reduced to this; 2 adults and a toddler living in a garage.
The sad thing is that it's still much bigger than what us Russians often live in, I mean, like two rooms for a family of 4 is the most common thing here and man are these rooms small XD That a lot, if not most of Americans live in houses and have like, backyards and pools and whatnot blows my mind lol. But yeah, this family deserves a makeover! I'm happy for them=))))
They live with their parents- it’s probably temporary. Their bedroom is pretty big. Maybe they’re saving to buy a home. It doesn’t have to be sad. Perspective
Usually the goal is for that situation to be temporary, but some people live like that for years. It doesn't need to be sad, but sometimes people have no other option than to live in that situation. It is not always a choice.
@@AshleyJolienne The goal is probably for it to be temporary, but even if it is, that can mean 5+ years. The fact remains that poverty is on the rise, as is homelessness. These are the lucky ones; they have parents that are able to help them. Not to mention the help from Mr. Kate! I really hope they do more episodes like this, both to help others that struggle, but also to inspire people that live in tiny apartments or with their parents.

I think this makeover is by far the best ever.. you guys were able to create a space for each member of the family in such a limited space and it felt like there was even more space in that room.. I can understand the tears she shed ... being able to bring comfort to their family... its amazing how you guys come up with such great ideas.. thank you for being a blessing to this family.. and also thank you to the companies that helped you.. i`ll be using these ideas for sure when I renovate my place.. you guys are creative beyond measure..

I think you guys can make like a station / booth where people can drop down their unwanted furniture that is still in nice condition then you guys can keep the ones that you guys like for future projects or revamp it!
It might sound like there’s a lot of work but I just think that you guys have the ability to make full use of the furnitures given where you all save cost too.

It truly AMAZES me what Kate and Joey do with every situation they're given. It truly takes talent for them to be able to make such a beautiful livable room out of such a small space. I'm blown away! And Kate's little touches like the baby hand and footprints and the vanity for mom really show how she always creates every space tailored to the needs of the family. And it just also show how loving and caring Kate is. You guys are rockstars!!!!!
Reading the comments make me so happy. Knowing there is more support for this family and not judging on how they are living. As a parent struggling and living with family, this makes me sooo happy .
I have seen A LOT of Mr. Kate and I've seen a LOT of room reveals but this one straight up made me burst out in tears cause that momma was GENUINELY thankful for that transformation and it showed. I live for those moments, and I was so happy that Kate said her goal was to "improve their quality of life.", I really hope it did!
You guys did a great job. I’m so thankful you picked that family. Growing up a lot of my friends lived in basements and garages. It makes them feel lesser and it shouldn’t. This episode shows you can live in a small place but still have it be warm.

This is one of my favorites you've ever done. My little family is in the same boat. My boyfriend, my toddler and I all share a bedroom. His parents were kind enough to let us while we finish school. But 3 in a room is tight. So this is amazing, I'm so happy for them.
