I just got my tank from CTC.. Same eurobraced with black silicone. The craftsman ship is amazing.. The edges are all machine polished but some of the annoying comments are speaking of the front corner eurobracing - which was polished slightly to avoid sharp ends... rookies..
Well I don't know where all the haters in the comments come from but don't let them bring you down. Some have nothing better to do with their lives than complain. I think the tank is beautiful. And I think you handle your comments in a very mature manner . Shuts people right up ! Anyways I was drawn to your channel from your blog post about milky/cloudy water. No, I am talking about another product, not this tank. This frag tank has been up and running for nearly a year and I have had no problems at all. And my display is going to be up for two years this July. Would not change a thing on either tank and would no doubt order from these guys again. I have been to their production facility and have seen first hand the quality of the materials and craftsmanship that goes into their products.

I believe in investing in quality since I am in it for the long haul. Folks will spend $500 to $1000 for individual frags so why not on equipment that is reliable? I purchased a cheap mass produced aquarium and it started to leak. This is just one reefers opinion and I understand others may feel differently.
euro bracing is only for support for tanks raller then 24 inches! why would you or for that matter aquarium builder let you go with and spend the extra money not needed on euro bracing??? Please don't say that rimless tanks splash when cleaning, because they don't. Or that snails will crawl out, because they won't! it's just as easy for snail to climb over the euro bracing as a rimless tank. I've had coast to coast tell my customers that, neither of which is true. that's the only reason I brought it up. if euro bracing is just something you wanted because you thought it looked good, or you were given the tank(by Coast to Coast) which I believed what has happened then I understand. I'd use it to. But just in case you had a reason for it id be glad to hear it. thank you for your time!

I have always gone with euro bracing since I do like to have a lot of flow for my SPS, especially at the top of the tank to keep the water oxygenated and refract the light. I also believe it does help, to a certain degree, to keep some fish from carpet surfing. I do love to keep wrasses and in all the years I have kept them I have never had one jump.....knock on wood :) Yes, folks do use netting at the top but I am not a big fan of this look. As for snails, I have never had one climb out and over my euro bracing but perhaps that has happened to others. But hey, the great thing about this hobby is that there are many different options to achieve success and I decided to pay the extra money to go with the euro bracing. I don't get your China reference but I did get a discount on this tank so there is a material connection between me and Coast To Coast Custom Aquariums. But I only use top quality equipment that I believe in and would recommend to others. I have 4 other Coast To Coast Custom Aquarium tanks and they are all top notch. I would not use any other tank builder even if I did not get a discount from CTC.
pff American Glas is shit... I have had multiple issues with american made glass. since then i only buy glas made in germany. they just do the best work. cause helll fucking germany yeah!

I wanted to ask... What is the diameter of the 5 or so holes that are drilled at the entrance of the external overflow box?
Each hole is 1-1/2".
I like it, but think it would be better if all edges were machine polished.
