I had this friend in college who was interested in two different girls: one was my best friend, the other was my good friend. Since I knew both of them better than he did, I knew there were some issues with my good friend. They started to develop further as she began to like him back. I pulled him aside multiple times when I noticed he was starting to go after her (I'm very good at reading people - I literally guessed both girls he liked and he was so surprised I knew just from watching him interact with them). Anyway, I basically warned him about some major red flags I was seeing with her (everything from she liked another guy as well as him, to she was initiating WAY too much physical contact before even knowing if he liked her back), and he started to turn on me. Told me that I was jealous he hadn't chosen my best friend, told me I wanted to just point out his flaws and bring his character down, that I didn't even want to be friends with him anymore. He broke off our friendship and got into a relationship with her. Well, about two months ago I heard from him again. I'd just recently broken up with my own boyfriend of a year and a half and was recovering from it, so I didn't really want to hear from him. But I told him what happened anyway because I felt like he was asking for a second chance. Otherwise, he wouldn't have contacted me. Turns out he'd broken up with her less than three months into the relationship. He never told me why and I never asked, because I figured he deserved that respect. He's messaged me a couple of times since then and I've let him because I've forgiven him for what he did to me. But no way will we ever be as close of friends as we used to be. He left her.....with me.....a newborn baby. His sister called my mom asking what had she had done to driven my dad away, blaming her for him moving to Nicaragua unannounced. My mom was confused and told them he claimed he went on a business trip. He never said he was going to Nicaragua. They haven't contacted us in years, neither has he. He even refused to divorce my mom because he didn't want any contact with her. He was a childish, ignorant and very easily jealous man. It took about 8 years for them to finally get divorced without any contact with one another. Supposedly, he was another wife and maybe kids I'm Nicaragua. I've never met him, he was at my baby shower before he left my m alone. He never payed child support either
