I'm a freshman in college this year and I'm definitely not a huge fan of parties. All anyone talks about is alcohol and how wasted they got. No one even tries to be classy and parties are filled with gross people, bad music, and more booze than I prefer to associate with.

I'm on my second year of uni and i'm so GLAD that you didn't say you are against partying or anything like that! I feel like most people here on youtube would. There's nothing wrong with having fun and experimenting new things (as long as you want to do that of course) while still going to classes and working hard
Aw Katy you probably won't see this but I just wanted to say thank you. You inspire me beyond belief whether it's with your personality or the hard work you put into everything you do! We're very similar and I love how your love for God shines through your personality :) Im actually a fashion school student in nyc and I recently began to make videos in hopes that not only will I get as far as you one day but hoping that this journey will allow me to meet people like you :) you don't need to answer this but I just wanted to tell you how amazing what you do is!

My freshman year in college, I thought I was going to be super productive that night and shower early, but forgot it was our room check nights. Well the TA lived right across the hall from us and she was very into knocking AFTER she opened the door, so I'd just gotten out of the shower and was getting dressed when they casually just opened the door. Fully expecting it to be our female TA, it ended up being our male RA. I died of embarrassment and now, of course, I see him ALL THE TIME. I feel your pain, Katy!

Eh the parties are okay. I've learned that I'm more into kickbacks rather than large frat parties where you don't know anyone and it's hard to meet people.
Dorms are ehhhhh I personally am tired of them and it's been like 3 months.

i love college for my education too, and im in my senior year, but something that i wish i did more of is go out, and enjoy myself a little more. Obviously school is a critical part of these four years, but its also the last four years of semi irresponsibility!!! Enjoy yourselves!! Work hard in school! Find a fair medium!=]

You make me miss my old school soooo much! I transferred after my freshman year (I'm halfway through my sophomore year) to pursue a different major but I still wish I was there because it was so much more fun. But whatev I'm at least pursuing what I want to do now.

My college is a nerd school, there are no parties anywhere on campus. Just tons and tons of study groups. Hopefully this gives me an edge in med school apps.
