San rancisco 49ers. was the first helmet I ever saw in my life. It was in Cancun mexico. The Joe Montana`s helmet!! Beautiful one 😍

I want to football helmet on the the other one I I wanted one but that was a Schutt a seven but I want the Riddell axiom in a size small put it like a logo on the side of a panther logo Pasadena panther logo and it is put it black how much black Enya
FINALLY!! It took a little bit but you guys finally did the niners😄 I agree partially. The red face mask would look good, but I’d keep the red white red stripe and only limit the black to the logo. Classic design from a very winning team in the 80’s😌

The Current helmet is on my 2nd place but the helmet I want the Niners to bring back is retro logo of early 90s or late 80s to use for their current game uniforms
Really wish u guys would have gone through the entire history of the Niners different helmet styles. The silver helmet with the classic SF logo has always been one of my favorites and I think they only wore that for the 1961 or 1964 season. Really wish one day the Niners would wear this helmet along with the cool old style jerseys from the same era.
Maybe in the next series we'll cover more!
Lol… I remember that helmet change debacle. Design looked like a grocery store sign: “Onions on sale! 49 cents each”!!

I wold like to see all teams have an alternative white helmet. I'm a Jags fan and I think a white helmet could look creative.

YES! Been waiting on this one. You missed mentioning the year that they had black red black but the black and red had a small space between it showing the gold of the helmet. Honestly, I like that they kept the newer logo and went back to the 80s helmets. Simple. As a Niner fan, I look at it along with uniforms. When they changed the logo and colors, the uniforms got a huge face lift. Numbers had gold line AND a shadow, the stripes were black/gold/red/gold/black to a niner logo on the pants. It was too much. Too much going on. A way better gold pants color but the uniforms were just too much. Going back to that 80s superbowl Montana erra with the newer logo is just classic. I've see people trying red facemasks in the current red on the newer helmet. Yuck. The gray just looks the best.

I thought they had silver helmets when they played at Kezar? Plus White Helmets and even a season with a red helmet????

Wrong!!! L O L love your guys company and respect the hustle, but San Fran had silver helmets back in the day with red stripe down the middle not to mention with the gold helmet back in the day and the red oval with all white SF in the middle of a red oval , but in 1994 season into the 95 Super Bowl they had those same white SF letters outlines in black … Come on fellas !I thought you guys were sticklers for such details. I live in Jersey but I’m die hard RED & GOLD Empire.
Sorry you feel that way! Thanks for watching the video. We did extensive research from reliable sources for each team, and for this series, we are only covering helmet design changes from after the Super Bowl Era began! I believe the silver helmets were worn before the Super Bowl Era started.
Im glad my favorite team has had very little design since the Super Bowl era. '64 to '95 are my favorite helmets. I hated the darker red with the red facemask. I'm glad they didn't go with the stupid 49ers logo on the helmet. I'm thrilled they went back to the lighter red and back to the sallon logo font. I know before the Super Bowl era they had a couple different designs. Maybe one year you can cover all the designs.
