  • the most fun open I have ever made ! Literally after the sto[ motion set I will show you how I create these turtle beads and a larger Mama turtle Matilda just a fun time !
If you enjoy my videos and would like to see more you can support my channel thru purchases at my shop www.etsy.com/shop/turtlesoupbeads
Unfortunately videos not only take many hours of my time but have actual production costs involved I prefer to keep my videos free for all and greatly appreciate all those who support my channel through my shop - thank you
I use many assorted canes in this video all of which I have individual tutorials for so just go through my channel and you can find them and create them in your favorite colors.
My original designs are free to use in all your personal work for craft fairs and art shows however if you are to copy them for sale or reproduction in videos or on the internet you need my express written permission .
Sorry about my snoring puppy again !lol

    Thank you!
We have a rescue kitty that we literally rescued- that somehow got lost from its feral momma and wound up between the walls between the apartments in our building. It was so tiny.
We’ve had her for about a month now. She sat on my shoulder and was just as intrigued as I was watching this video. She watched almost the whole thing with me.
This was so fun to watch and see how left over canes can be used in such a creative way. Just a little bit made a whole new piece of art. They are so darling big and small.
    We really enjoyed it! 😺

We had a turtle at our house. My daughter came home from school in the second grade wanting an amphibian for a pet. We got a very small turtle, which grew and grew. We didn’t know anything about turtles. It took our oldest daughter going off to school to have the youngest daughter to find out all about our turtle. They named him Curtle. He lived for 35 years. I am so inspired by your tutorial’s. I have bought polymer clay and especially the color magenta. Your easy going expert artful hands are magical! Thank you for your professionalism and your art! 😁🐢

Love, love, love each and every one of these adorable turtles and the beautiful mama turtle. The intro was so cute and entertaining. May I suggest that if you cover your compressed foil with masking tape, the clay is easier to smooth and the clay sticks well to the tape. Mama turtle is sooooo beautiful! What a great way to use up those little bits of canes. Would love to see how you made the petal canes down the middle of Matilda's belly and how you use those adorable turtle beads! Thanks Susan!! You keep us dreaming and inspired.

Many years ago I was given a quite large box of size 6 mixed color mostly luminous seed beads. There were some smaller gold bugle beads mixed in. Anyway, I never used them but couldn't bear to get rid of them either. I began learning to use polymer clay to make the most gorgeous beads in 2018 and have been addicted since. Then began making jewelry with them & using beads. I now have boxes of polymer clay beads I've made now. I'm always had it in the back of my head to make an arched bead curtain with the seed beads then it came to me.. use the polymer clay ones also! I was just organizing to begin making my bead curtain when I saw this video. I had to have turtles interspersed also! Yes, I have your fish and inchies along with just about every bead you've shown us how to make! I even glued the flat back ones back to back and added those. I decided to make my curtain in sections I could hook together rather than in single long strands. That turned out to be one smart decision. I just finished my curtain yesterday. It's 7' long on the sides, the middle of the arch is nearly 3' and 6' wide. HUGE! And fits my front picture window perfectly. It's by far the prettiest most amazing thing in my home. It's all.. ALL.. size 5 seed beads and turtlesoupbeads inspired beads. Not that I'll ever be truly done with it. I can hook & unhook sections to add new small strands with whatever fun bead you come up with next. I went through about 2/3 of the box of seed beads so lots of fun left to be had. Or.. I'll make another bead curtain for over my substantially smaller kitchen sink. How lovely would that be? I'd have to wait until I had another big batch of beads made though since I've nearly depleted my stash. I never thought that would even be possible in itself!
The other drapes in my house all sport tie backs I've made using polymer clay, beads & strips of ribbon, lace & organza.
With your help I was able to make what will forever be for me the masterpiece of artwork of my lifetime.
    Thank you Susan!
