Millie I’m a hairstylist, please be very careful when you next get your hair coloured, seen it before where people have had reactions to henna & then they react to hair colour etc, please make sure you get a patch test x
black henna is so dangerous honestly!! so many people have used it for eid and had such scary reactions to it (saw some on tiktok). hope you guys are okay xx
@@us3rnam3333 yeah the problem is that it’s chemical henna, it’s not about the price. If the henna is natural it will be safe but black henna especially is very well known to be dangerous, of course other colours can be dangerous too but black is the worst.
@@zeeahmedxo the only henna that isn’t chemical is the one that’s green upon application. chemicals aren’t the problem, sourcing and price is. good quality black henna exists and is used in so many african cultures.
@@us3rnam3333 of course natural henna, but when chemicals are added it can be problematic. Some people it will react bad for them and others it won’t but regardless it’s bad for your skin to apply unknown chemicals to it.
black henna is not acc poisonous that's a big common misconception, it's dangerous to get it abroad because these ''henna artists'' are so dangerous and careless by putting things other than water in their henna i.e. paint remover, petrol. So, please anyone reading this, for your own safety NEVER get black henna abroad. If you wanna get it done buy the powder mix it with water, and make the cones yourself. Stay safe guys!
The whole start of the video was really the universe saying don’t go. I would have been having a breakdown but glad you went & all the disasters were great content so that’s a win 😝

A couple of things which frustrated me while watching this: Your friends and yourself are not wearing seatbelts in a moving vehicle. This occurs multiple times in this video. It's dangerous and irresponsible and not behaviour you should be modeling for your audience. I'm fairly sure your audience is quite young, mid to late teens to early twenties. Wearing a seatbelt reduces the risk of death and disfigurement significantly. Working on your "tan" is remarkably dangerous. One sunburn in your younger years doubles your risk of melanoma. For older people five sunburns doubles the risk of melanoma. Over 90% of skin cancer is directly related to UV damage. Almost all visible signs of aging are caused by sun exposure, such as wrinkles, age spots, and sagging skin. Please wear sunscreen. Getting a tan does not protect you at all. Given you have been so affected by cancer on such a personal level I hope you will take the risk of cancer seriously. Not all black henna is poisonous. Ones containing paraphenylenediamine are though.
I agree with the seat belt, but everything else... I know some one that passed at 39 from lung cancer having never smoked in their life, and also my Nan who smoked all her life from 15 until 95, and used straight oil to tan when the sun is out for 50+ years and passed from an accident, I think just live your life (to an extent!) with what makes you happy, knowing the possible consequences, because nothing is guaranteed x
Not only that but I’m fairly sure she said I know I’m allergic to henna but I’m going to get it anyway. So she’s basically given herself chemical burns for “clout”
@@beanssometimes there's no reason to actually get a tan, especially when spray tans and self tanner exist. Yes, exposure to these cancer triggers is not a guarantee that you will get cancer and yes avoiding them does not guarantee freedom from cancer. The issue is that, similar to cervical cancer being caused by HPV infection in most cases, there are outliers and that exposure to one of these triggers does not mean you will definitely get this cancer. There are different types of lung cancer and skin cancer which are not as tied to smoking and sun exposure as well. Just because you have experienced a perceived paradox does not make these activities safe and the vast majority of these trigger-linked cancers are preventable.
