Awesome adventure! Wish there were more footage! Did the coast from Astoria, OR to Crescent City, CA 2 years ago...Then did Seattle To Portland (STP event) this year...love the pacific northwest. Would love to do the Olympic Discovery Trail next! Subbed!

    Memorable….
My wife and I also did the Olympic National Park route …. (in rental 🚘 car ), leaving from Seattle ferry ⛴ , staying at Lake Quinault. It was gorgeously rainy.

Awesome! We loved the Olympic Peninsula - beautiful despite the frequent rain!

Awesome! We really loved the ODT, it was one of our favorite sections of the trip!

I would totally do this route if there were a decent shoulder the whole time.

Heh, Kissing and Turtle Rocks in the thumbnail, that's just outside my home town.

Awesome! Such a beautiful area. And it's always cool to see locals finding our videos!

Fantastic video guys! Planning on coming down from BC to ride this trail in the summer. Were there many hike/bike campsites along the trail? The only one im seeing with guaranteed sites is Fairholme campground.

There were lots of campgrounds with hiker/biker sites on the ODT and along the WA and OR coasts. We found them on the state/county parks websites. We were there in May so not sure how crowded they get in high summer. There is a pretty good list of campgrounds with bike sites on the ODT website:

@@RollingExistence Thanks for that, ill be going end of may/start of June, so hopefully avoid the worst of the crowds, good to know the weather can turn like it did in your video, even in May!

Did you have to use a bear bag or something for your food? Doing the same route and trying to figure that out.

We used an OPSAK to store our food, which is good for critter protection as well. We were primarily staying in state and county campgrounds, and when there were bear boxes at the sites we would just use those to store food.

Thanks! Couldn't find a bag to use so did it without, wasn't a problem, mostly stayed under bridges and abandos cus it rained the whole time, could always put the food out in the middle of the bridge when I was scared haha

You wear helmets, super! Here in the Netherlands you are overtaken by elderly people without a helmet on an electric bicycle. An advantage of not wearing a helmet is that after an accident, you never have to use make-up for your plastic face again

I just discovered your journey on your last day in Europe (Norway). So I’m starting at the beginning to watch your entire trip. I’m particularly interested in Scandinavia, mostly Norway. I’m doing a US coast to coast cycling trip after I have a total shoulder replacement surgery. I’m not allowed to ride for now then 10 weeks of PT and my surgeon says I’ll be good to go. I got a new unicycle to learn the first week of the pandemic and still haven’t been out to learn it but I’ll get there. Im loving your videos! 👍☮️🌞🚵‍♀️🚵‍♂️🏕💖
