A love of food hasn't been done yet in Danganronpa, and I think that adds to her character. (Aoi doesn't count, she only likes Donuts.) It makes her seem greedy and gluttonous, which adds to her character. Akane often talks about how she grew up inside a bad neighborhood with gangs, and I have a theory it was a poor neighbourhood based off the fact, and she was starved for food. This could help people understand her love of food. She, overall, is a very fleshed out character. Also, she may have been sexually harrassed in the past, even though this is just a theory. Evidence for this is in times where she talks about not wearing panties doing work to support her poor and large family. She may also cover up trauma with her love of food or naiveness. Although she may have parts where she could have character development flushed out by food and naive nonsense, this is the conclusion to my case that she's not boring. That's about it, also if u don't agree that's fine lol

And nekomarus death clearly showed her that 1 she needed to become more cooperative with the others so she can protect them from having such a fate as nekomaru 2 that she isn't weak for crying and even if she was weak,that its perfectly fine because thats human nature.
