- Hey there, today I'm sharing my Cottage Inspired Spring Home Tour for 2024. I recorded this home tour during the afternoon time because that's the time my house looks the prettiest to me from the glow of the afternoon sunlight. My home decor style is a mix of Cottage (French Country Cottage) and modern neutral Farmhouse. I love to use neutral colors, but this year for spring I wanted to use a pop of burgundy and lavender color in our home to give our house a new look so it can look a little different compared to my Early Spring Decor.
My son was my inspiration for how I styled our home this spring season. Its still cold here in Connecticut and he wanted our house to feel like a garden. I used a lot of greenery and floral stems in my decor this year so our house feels like a little cottage garden. The way I have styled our house for spring I can keep it out for summer decor too because the colors are perfect to transition into the summer months.
