  • Today I'm reviewing the bugaboo dragonfly, which I have been using now for around 5 months. Hope it's helpful to anyone considering buying this pushchair! I am starting a new series of baby product reviews, so be sure to let me know anything you want reviewed!

So many good points covered. I had a hand-me-down stroller that had wheels that were too small, and a push handle that was separated into two sides and angled poorly, heavy and not suitable for our suburban lifestyle with forest walks. I thought it was just me, and stuck to a baby carrier. When we next found one that was given away for free, it had wonderful big wheels, good suspension, stable handlebar. but complicated straps and almost laughable hood. And I still thought I was just being fussy, since both cost a good amount of money if bought new. Thank you for bringing all these points to light.

If anyone is like me or planning to walk through parks/ forests or just anywhere with more uneven ground, you might wanna get bigger wheels!!! Small ones shake the buggy so much even when rolling over small stones😅 I'm outdoors a lot with my little one, and we tried a few different buggies so far, and that's what made the biggest difference for us.

Thank you, this was super helpful! I had never heard about the Bugaboo strollers before. I would love to hear you review other strollers that you’ve tried!

I’m literally buying one of these off marketplace for £400 tomorrow. Upgrading from our Bee5 for new baby!
Would never pay full price for any pram, even a bugaboo, but they’re fab second hand!

The good thing to buying second hand too is you know if there’s any common issues

Your reviews on strollers/push-chairs are AWESOME--thank you so much for posting! I was also quite stroller obsessed when I had my son many years ago, and am currently a Bugaboo fanatic. Own the Bee, Chameleon, and Ant. Now considering the Dragonfly (hoping they adequately fixed the seat recall problem) vs. the Butterfly. I realize they are in completely different categories, but have never minded gate-checking my Bee when travelling. I think the Dragonfly is meant to replace the Bee so I'm very curious. I do struggle with back problems so being able to load separate bits into the boot would be a plus. Don't do that with my Bee. So here's my question, do you happen to know if the Peg Perego Lounge infant car seat can be attached to the Dragonfly? I love the fact that this car seat can be reclined outside of the car. Don't live near any baby gear stores so can't check in person myself. Thanks again for all the information you impart in your videos, and I wish you and your son all the best!

We have the bugaboo dragonfly and first I was loving it because u struggle alot with other urban strollers like the nuna triv next or the ultra compact. We had also the bee what I really loved but there was no place for big shopping so we chance to the Dragonfly. But what u notice after a rainy day that the canopy is so flat too the face I cannot explain this so good. When my 2 years old was in the sleeping position and the Canopy was Completly open with the raincover in top, I had the feeling the canopy touched the face from my son and he had no space in the buggy anymore because the rain cover also comes so close to his body. Now I'm thinking about sending it back because all this comfort for the parents are nice but if my son feels uncomfortable I cannot recommend this buggy

And I feel like nobody talking about this how close the canopy is actually to the child face, I never see videos where they show the Dragonfly in the sleeping position with open canopy

Would be great if you could give a tour of the buggy and its features rather than just talking about it. Very hard to visualise

I don’t understand why they took away the lockable front wheels like the bee because then it would be pretty good for any terrain like the bee 6

I cannot emphasize any harder please please please don't leave push chairs in communal hallways in a flat. In a fire there is absolutely no visibility. Seriously firefighters are trained with blindfolds as you cannot see. If you or anyone had to evacuate in a fire, you will be using the walls to navigate. I know I sound like a "health and safety gone mad" person but you or someone else tripping over a push chair in a communal hallway in a fire could be absolutely catastrophic. I know no one listens when management agents say "don't leave belongings in the communal hallway" but this is why.

If management come to the building they are likely to take the pushchair away too, due to the reasons you've listed

It's a very small pushchair left folded up in the hallway at 12:50. She's not doing something obnoxious like leaving a bugaboo fox unfolded in a building foyer.
