I can see the difference between that and stock already, shame I didn’t know about you when I had any of my M cars. Summer is fast approaching though, I think I may just have to see if I can find a nice F80 myself!
It was a huge difference. Actually took us by surprise even though we make these parts! That sounds like a great idea! One of the best all rounder cars out there at the moment.
Nice my Fav track, my Clio was (is) amazing round here after you set it up. I love putting my Nangkang AR-1's on as soon as it's out on track, the grip is night and day with the Michelin road tyres.
Great to hear you’re enjoying the setup Neil! Yes we will be diving into tyres soon as we are definitely asking too much of the PS4S tyres out there now 👍
Would love a deeper dive video on undersprung/overdamped, and why an automaker would do that. And also why a more balanced system is better. If you already have a video, can you share a link?
We cover this in episode 1 a little bit. The main reason is when adaptive dampers are being used, they soften off the springs so that the damper has an active effect from the drivers perspective. But then due to the soft springs they need to run the dampers firmer to compensate but you can end up with a situation like this where it feels out of balance 👍
Very interested to see the follow on to Ep4 to see where this progresses with your changes. I’m in a similar position currently with my M2C. When is the next episode due?
Hey Tim, it could be slightly faster in the two places where traction interfered every lap. It’s a nice way to gauge physical grip out on circuit through the data logger as it allows us to see if the car still interferes after a few upgrades that should help with traction and we can see it on the data overlays that way 👍

@@SuspensionSecrets that’s great! What can you do for my 24 cupra ateca?
Really enjoying the series !
That's awesome! Glad you're enjoying it!
Looking good Matt 💥
Thanks Dave 👍

Our next video goes live tonight!
Great stuff, could be faster with traction fully off?
