There's actually some cultural pressure on men to NOT be shallow. We're not visual creatures in the sense that we're only interested in the surface. We're visual creatures in that we rely on observation and analysis of what we can percieve. This data then becomes the primary thing by which we make a decision. Whereas with women, they seem to be primarily focused on how something makes them feel. And since feelings are hardwired to go along with instinct and animal impulse, women tend to go for what their base urges tell them to go for rather than actually go for a genuinely good man. Not that men can't be horny bastards, too, but it usually manifests differently. Since men typically don't place sex and romance in the same room, we tend to put women in one of two categories; sexual partners and romantic partners. While I've seen a lot of feminists claim that women can disassociate like this, too, both scientific studies on the subject and my personal experience would render that argument invalid. Promiscuity is unhealthy for both men and women. For various reasons. But it is particularily psychologically damaging for women. I feel the need to somewhat defend the furry guy's response I feel it was less panicking cause it's a trick question and more "dammit why does everyone bring up THAT side of the fandom" cause like most things there are people who will make it sexual
I hate the furry suits. Why not do something more badass like werewolf makeup or something?
@@Devin7ElevenAs an outsider, my thought would be that it's actually the most practical way to go around a what one feels is closer to their "true self".
Makeup requires advanced skills and materials, and the further the makeup diverges from human, the greater the skills required. A suit can be put on by anyone as long as they fit, and if you yourself don't have the skill or materials to make one, you can commission someone else to make it for you.
@@Devin7Eleven if there was werewolf makeup it would make you look uglier.
I'm sorry but some makeup arent... good.

To my knowledge, Fhe Button is not scripted, and that evil button lowkey encourages this kind of behavior. I find the show super funny because of it, but I refuse to give it views on principal. I think people have met each other and went on follow up dates through it, though. Its rare but it does happen.
Not gonna lie, out of most of the dudes in this video the Furry to me seemed like one of the most normal and confident in his own vibe without being overly performative. If i had a blind date and a girl showed up in a furry suit but sounded confident about it I definitely would chuckle a bit but be entertained by the situation and see where it goes 😂
That's only because you've been gaslit into no longer seeing a grown man using a dog costume for sex as something abnormal
The more I watch Paws the more I like em. Great commentary.
That little bit about your dad picking colors and patterns for your mom's suits was hella adorable. W mans, W relationship.
I burst out laughing in the middle of the office at the "men have built society to get pussy" speech... I'll have to share this one with my wife. 😂😂😂
if you want to date someone take notes from that show and do the EXACT OPPOSITE of what these people are doing here.. holy shit that was hard to watch
Speaking facts. And it's unbelievable the show runners behind the scenes is interfering with the conversation at times, too.
15:13 So! Paws was diagnosed with sarcasm! I hope it's not contagious 😂
First off, nice wallet, Paws. And second, communication is definitely a huge issue in the supposed "dating market". It's okay to have preferences as well as boundaries, but to force those things or expect something out of the other is already a failure, if one's not willing to open up just a bit, but to these folks it seems way out of their league.
Communication is definitely one of the biggest issues
For the Polycouple thing I agree. I think they are voted out like in Among Us and kicked out of the appartment
When she says taller than 5'7", she means at least 5 inches taller than 5'7".
There was abrand of popsicles that used to have jokes on the stick. E.g setup would be on the handle, punchline on the part of the popsicle you gotta eat
Hear me out… wiggly ears ❤
No these people are out there I have some bad tinder story’s but the one that will never leave me is someone liked me and then asked me what my blood type was 😅 that just werid or one lady that got angry at me cause I was asking to many questions 😂
12:13 Romanian moment.
1:02:00 fun fact: there is no opposite of rizz, if it goes too low it just get into the negative numbers. bro has negative rizz
another fun fact: guns existed since before the renaissance, that means a medieval setting with guns is realistic
That joker laugh was just cherry on top
Paws you're not American but it's rough for us over here. This is your culture shock
I bought a faux leather wallet that was already pretty well used at a yard sale for .50 cents back in like, 1998. I finally had to throw it away a year or so ago, it just finally fell apart.
You should watch dating strategies one, it's hillarious
Approval on the wallet Paws, to bad she paid in braincells though the rest of the video. 😏
1:24 Why Shoe gotta out me like that tho
If this BS show is real and not running from scripts?
I fear for the future of society. Damn.
It's real but extremely edited. The button doesn't turn red a few seconds in, it takes several minutes of talk first. Plenty to show interest or disinterest. It devolved over time into a race to hit the button, and the editing came to reflect that.
57:46 same. As a fellow Romanian we apparently share the same brain cell there
Paws being the fountain of fricking truth in this one!! 💯
Another banger from Paws. Recent new fan, your voice is super nice. Keep up the good work 👍👍
And yeah, just going to say that my tastes in women... is more just simply having a good woman.
There are outer features I do like more (although some would be "unconventional" compared to other men), but I'm still far more for the personality. Besides, if someone won't stick by at my lowest, they don't deserve me at my best. That's how all people should think.
Yep personality then looks.
“Is plastic surgery shallow or judging others for getting plastic surgery shallow?” Here let’s lower the bar, is dying your hair shallow or not liking others that dye their hair shallow? It’s still a regular cost and time commitment lmao
Every time I've seen this I've disagreed with the response to the one guy saying the 35 year old looked older. He was rude, but that's not why. Saying he didn't believe her was the rude bit, and confrontational out of the gate. Then she fished for a compliment everyone knew wouldn't be true (If he thought she looked younger he would have followed up not believing with "because you look younger" to turn it into a compliment rather than leaving it confrontational). She asked a question everyone knows has only one socially acceptable answer, regardless of its truth, and is fishing for a compliment. If you ask a trap question like that or fish for a compliment, you don't deserve to get the answer want to the trap question and you don't deserve the compliment you're fishing for even if the compliment would have been true. Guy's still a jerk, but for saying "Now see I don't believe you" not for saying "You look older"
I'm going to be honest.... but my wildest "hear me out".... Pheramosa
(remember that this is coming from a guy)
That's a nice wallet.
The furry guy with his "not just" comment....
I hate the fact that i know exactly what he's talking about (it's called "yiff") and i'm almost entirely against furry (i do like kemonomimi, which is just the ears and tail).
Here's the thing, I'm not against the furries. Cuz they do be making some good arts that isn't yiff or NSFW.
But honestly I'm thinking your confusing Furries and Demi humans.
Cuz you mentioned only ears and tail so that's just a Demi human.
@@koreancowboy42 i gave the proper term for it in my comment cause demi humans would be stuff like elves, demons, and even angels. also, mermaids count.
"kemo" is just the animal ears and tail, but it seems like tons of people forget that term exists cause so many still call it a furry.
but i'm more against the furry stuff that looks closer to the animal side, like sonic, star fox, or looney tunes. there's a few exceptions in my case, but not many. M'Rissi for example is okay to me.
28:24 McDonalds ahh laugh
What if I only spend half of the time i usually do with my expensive car so that we can spend our time together while we talk about my expensive car?
I don't know you besides this particular video but goated wallet🔥🔥🔥
im sure Shoe said "one of those"
Short attention span, short term thinking and mindset, no knowledge of what's important in life, that's basically what I see there.
Thank you Paws. Hearing your reasonable opinions makes me feel heard with my opinions.
1:14:27 There was a cut and it’s likely she didn’t know who he was until he sat down and told her how he knew her which jogged her memory.

I have a leather tri-fold wallet that I've had since middle school. The stitching is coming loose, but the leather it's made out of is perfectly fine. Also, The Button game show is completely fake. The contestants are encouraged to hit the button as fast as possible after they introduce themselves.
Great video paw
I'm so jealous of you for having an AC/DC wallet.
The button is just a ragebait show
Your wallet looks cool!
True. But what about my wallet?
55:42 I love this part of the video and this part 1:00:53
Paws, maybe some guys need a hug.
well people aren't as shallow, they don't have anything else but looks to act on before they spoken... so it would make sense that first thing you'd look at is appearence.
for me personally the problem begins when people open their mouth and than all the beauty in the world might get disillusioned, intelligence and connection on the other hand something that can carry a healthy relashionship.
this show most be staged right? it can't be that bad in the u.s. can it?
Can we just go back to being humans again!
Have you heard about fire punch
why is your name paws if you got feet? 🤔
Poor people cars:
Yaris
Nissan altima
Ive said it before, I'll say it again: "Types" aren't real.
People say "I like blondes" because a bunch of the girls they've liked were blondes, so they think being blonde makes women hot, but will safely ignore all the blondes that do nothing for them.
Să-ți ajute Dumnezău, că tare bine am ras.
Paw
You are sarcastic? Or you are BEING sarcastic?🤔🤔
Hã... Aren't you Romanian?
That makes you a latina girl.
First! Yay
It was a very big L take on Shoe's part to even use that show in the first place. It's a highly edited race to hit the button. The one who hits it stays, and whoever is in the chair at the end gets a cash prize. There's no incentive to actually meet each other. She should have used a speed dating show. An actual one, where everyone gets a fixed amount of time to talk, and then plays musical chairs to their next date. This isn't it.
I don't see how its an L for Shoe. I'm pretty sure the point is to have fun and not to find a perfectly representive sample of the larger population.
It was literally just for fun, as was stated by Shoe...
Great video paws
