nice build, it provides the same dps as classic melee dps build? or its more for the utility and debbufs? and if your healer its dogshit and almost doesnt use VG, could you pick oblivion over orb?
The VG/IG setup is less potential dps than the classical melee, with the tradeoff being more spammable CC whilst doing passable AoE dps. It's more so a support dps than a dps carry in that sense, albeit changing to the Rapier later down the line to pick up the slack on the more focused sections and bosses. If the healer is having a rough time then going for Essence Rupture is a good idea, or alternatively Oblivion if you so feel like it. The upcoming balance changes for S2 will allow the Tether effect to carry over between weapon swaps, which then makes that our preffered 3rd spell besides Orb/Scream generally speaking.
The way the T2 (20%) intelligence gems are implemented is very unintuitive. It's a pain in the ass to explain "simply" but: "... Scales of base weapon stat, or INT if higher." is what the gems state, but the INT value is hidden. For the T2 gems' case that value is 200% INT, which means that the Arcane Dmg portion of the weapon now has double the INT->Dmg than the regular VG/IG damage. This makes it so that the T2 INT gems are closer to a 20% dmg increase before accounting for elemtal weaknesses, putting them above the t5 Opal/Diamond alternatives. It works this way because all the Int gems share the common "total INT scaling" of 40%. This means that the T5 (50/50) gems' INT scaling needs to be 80% for that to even out , or for the T2(80/20) case its 200%. [40%/0.5=80%] from T5 vs [40%/0.2=200%] from T2 Hope this makes sense
Depends on which expedition, try spending time looking up what the monsters are weak too such as arcane, ice fire, and slash damage etc, and what defensive perks and cooldowns you’ll need to spam abilities.
Awesome run!
Love it. #goals

@@Hrodgir >_O I am broke down xDDD
Good evening, I like your videos, I'm new to the game, could you tell me what are the recommended melee weapons to make the mutated ?

I started with building a full set for amrine, and running it several times in 3s and then moved to starstone, then depths and so on
@@Tuggsie thank you very much
