Why not monster reincarnation over feather of the phoenix?

I think because Feather can grab any card, not just a monster, and since Hand can pull Phoenix from the deck and doesn't have to be from hand, the added versatility seems to be the reason.

This deck needs Dark Dust Spirit+Treeborn Frog for the combo loop with Sacred Phoenix.
Your Turn 1: Set up GY with Treeborn Frog via foolish burial or feather of the Phoenix.
Your turn 2: SP summon Frog from GY. Use Hand of nephthys to SP summon Sacred. Tribute Frog for dark dust spirit nuke field destroying Phoenix.
Your turn 3: SP summon frog & Phoenix in standby phase. Phoenix nukes back row. Tribute Frog Summon dark dust spirit, nuke monsters.
Rinse and repeat.
