You used impure water (such as mixed with salts) since you could enable loghts without a transistor whereas pure water has 500k ohm resistance which requires at least 300v

I don't understand... once the water touches the exposed terminal it complete the circuit causing the LED sensor to light up? I am sure I am missing the trick of the type of material or liquid use. Could you illuminate me on this?

All positive lead of LEDs open in water
Connect wire to positive terminal of battery and drop it in water

In parallel all LED got 9Volt, but these are 1.5V LEDs, within 1 min they become useless
