I wired this example with a 24 volt transformer to control the coils on the Contactors, the 2 Buttons and the Stop Switch. Works great - Thanks. Now, I'm trying to figure out how to replace the Stop Switch with 2 Limit Switches - one for "home" and one for "away". The "home" Switch would be open and allow the Forward Button to turn on the motor. When it reaches the "away" Switch, the motor will stop. Pressing the Reverse Button would reverse the motor until it reaches the "home" Switch to stop the motor. The Contactors would be "latched" during the process so that pressing either Button would do nothing until the "home" or "away" Switch stops the motor. Suggestions would be appreciated. Again, thanks for the video.
what a great video, very clear thank you. I have watched many videos, your by far is the best! I have two questions if you don't mind answering me please, where do you connect the wiring for a single phase motor (North American motor with only 3 wires coming out of motor of which one is connect to capacitor)? where would a limiting switch to stop the forward or reverse rotation of the motor at a specific location? Cheers!
J K to add limit switches you need to use NC contacts. On the schematic before contactor K1 place one limit switch with NC contact and before K2 place second switch.
You probably dont care but does anyone know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me
AboutElectricity really liked it. Going to have my intern at work watch it. However would have been nice to add 2 mins an show the wiring of the motor also.
corry laich have a look here th-cam.com/video/A3qfd0Op-W8/w-d-xo.html Maybe it will help. There is a control wiring and the second part is showing power connection.
why do u need to pass trough the reverse contactor for the forward button before going to a1 of the same direction contactor??? examole the forward button goes too 22NC (reverse) then comes out from the other side 21NC and then only goes to the forward contactor in A1? thanks in advance for ur answer and thanks for ur video buddy, im studying HVAC and i really want to understand those stuff for my practical exams.
Because to make motor running forward you have to be sure it is already not running reverse. That is why forward pushbutton and coil is in serial with reverse NC contact.
If one contractor sticks in the n/c auxiliary prevents the other one energising which would short out the mains there should also be a mechanical interlock which was on the circuit diagram but not installed.
Hello sir I have 2 phase forward and reverse from timer Then how to conect two contractor if forward is working then reverse should be not active at same time
Thanks in Advance leave a comments so that i can shout you in my next video

Hi Matt! The limit switches should be normally close. I will try to make video about it soon.It will be based on one of my previous movie.

su método es excelente, es el mejor método que un aprendiz a visto después de ver bastantes vídeos al respecto. Felicidades!

Bravo bravo bravo 👏 👏 👏. Very clear and open
hi, how should i wire for direkt swich from right to left? thx the video is very helpfully
Excellent video, get rid of the music and add commentary to make it perfect
Bravo bravo
I from iraq thank you .
This is a clear video compare to your previous one bro'. can i have a request? your are using single phase, right? how about 3-phase. thank you
Hi! What's your opinion about this presentation?

Can the same be used for linear induction motor?
Not sure to be honest.
Very nice work sir
How do you get it to switch direction without the stop pushbutton?

awesome keep it up
Cheers mate.
At least u could of put the motor to show how it working it will give the viewers a better understanding
I don't think watching motor turning forward and backward would be interesting.
This is a great video. I learned alot
Hi About Electricity,
Would you have a list of all part used.
This was a great video, very clear and step by step.
Thank you

Nice
good
nice
wir ing if you do it with different colours then it will be less confusing. At the end wiring becomes confusing
The wire colours indicate the voltage normally the cables would be numbered to aid diagnostics
Brill video
Woww
2:46
I have just positive opinion.!That's of lot
good video but the music just fucked it up
Give me diagram
Its shown at the beginning of the video
