i was watching this last night and Allen was on a roll and I thought John was going to lose and i got upset and switched off - woke up this morning delighted he won ... nothing against Allen - he is a superb player - but we olde timers love our nostalgia ... and i retreated knowing ronnie was still in it. i'm so happy for John... it's only a game - but in this day and age - we need this - snooker has given us so much joy in the past .. and it's remarkable because it is just guys with long sticks pushing different coloured balls into six small pockets on a huge table....
