I'm glad the pain of the extract missions was felt universally by the community.
I mean they didnt drop correctly which didnt help....
@vahdoom no excusing those spawn rates though. It's blatantly unbalanced. No clue why they haven't fixed it yet, I've done about 15 citizen escort missions and completed 1 on normal.... 0 on hard. 0 on extreme. 0 on any difficulty higher than normal. With a full squad everytime
@@BraydonAttoe-xs4yg they are better now than they were at the start sure, they are perfectly completeable now. Not sure when this was filmed but probably before they tweaked them, but again they did themselves no favours by doing what they did
@vahdoom definitely, but that's the other type of escort, I've beaten those ones. It's the escort mission where it's a tiny map and it's just the facility and you need to escort like 40-50 in under 12. By 2 min in 4 hulks are spawning every min... not including the 7,000 other robos just camping the shuttle bay door

If only they had dropped on the objective and known about strategies like: one person staying and move citizens and the others draw off bots... not to mention you also want defensive stratagems more than just offensive ones. Tesla coil and EMS Mortars FTW there. Crowd control is a must.

I feel like your machine gun you start with is under powered for the droids
Bots have a lot of medium and heavy armor, so explosive stuff and medium penetration tend to work much better than they do in bug missions. And vice versa, swarm weapons like MGs kinda fall off in bots.
