As a Cardiff fan I am absolutely disgusted with this decision, considering the drastic overhaul during the summer with the players coming in and the style of play this makes absolutely no sense at all! After what has come out on Wales Online (even though they can be very hit & miss at times) the decision is 100% lunacy and a complete show of panic and impatience by the board. I have given the board & Vincent Tan chance after chance to put things right after an entire essay of completely abhorrent decisions but now enough its enough - Tan Out!

I'm not a fan of Tan either after the way he p*ssed all over our tradition, culture and history by changing us to playing in red from our traditional blue. Totally unforgiveable! Also, what is that centipede on our badge all about, eh? However, on this occasion Tan and Co. have to be applauded for getting rid of the inept Morison. Let's just hope Tan goes for someone decent this time around. Please dear Footballing Gods, not Warnock again!!

Tan out haha he’s the one with the dough. Morison was given a massive chance by tan which no other club in the league would give him and he chose to be an arrogant bully boy, with zero repor with the fans. Good riddance now get a proper passionate Cardiff type manager in Nathan Jones now. Let’s see what this squad is capable of with proper guidance!

@@owainyates347 This comment absolutely baffles me - if you actually READ into it he was sacked for "poor performances" and nothing to do with his attitude. You can see what he was trying to do and needed way more time instead of the board making another stupid decision - Nathan Jones is a quality shout however there is no way they will pay his wages or the buyout clause - after all SM was the lowest paid manager in the league!

@NWM don’t know what can possibly baffle you. Didn’t say he was sacked for being arrogant but his arrogance hasn’t helped him considering what he’s served up on the pitch wasn’t good enough either. Like I said tan gave him a chance at this level which no other club would’ve done for a novice academy coach. He should count himself lucky for the experience he’s had.
We won’t pay for Nathan Jones, well I don’t understand how you could say such a thing, are you tans financial advisor or accountant? How on earth would you know what our billionaire owner is prepared to do to restore his assets?

Completely clueless against one of the worst sides in the league which had to be the end for the chump, bully boy, academy coach. Good riddance. As a proper cardiff fan I am so relieved he has gone, won't be a popular decision with the happy clappers amongst us these days, but sideways and backwards passing don't cut it .
It's not about results it's about performances done it for me, typical academy coach speak, they prefer 20 passes to a goal.

I'll be creating some TH-cam videos on Mick McCarthy's 4 year tenure at Millwall. Called 'The worst 4 years in managerial history'.
Inheriting a Prem squad & leaving a bloated league 2 squad. And that was after spending over 10 million (in today's money) on 54 players!
The recovery took 5 years - relegation, administration & 5 tough years in league 1.

This is a disgrace. 17 new signings, just signed Robinson. Saved us easily from relegation, new style. Hit and miss? Sure. Don't think anyone expected anything else. Honestly, this is the most bizarre and disastrous management decision in my 30+ years of supporting City. Everything was looking good, building towards something, but now...honestly...who knows? I'm with you, think there must be more to it, but heard nothing from the board, which is laughable. Where do we go now? Tan has turned the whole fan base against him in one swift motion. Idiotic.

  • @twizzle1952
    @twizzle1952 2 ปีที่แล้ว

He’s better off elsewhere. I’ve followed Cardiff since the early 1960’s. Managers at Cardiff used to be treated with respect, but not in recent years. Let’s be honest, if you look at the club, who represent a capital city, we’ve never really been successful. We’re massive underachievers. How many times have I heard the phrase “we’re sleeping giants”. What a load of tosh! The Cardiff that we are now show no respect for any manager. They dont give managers any real money to buy players so they have to look around the lower leagues. Then if one of the players shows any real talent and form (especially if they start scoring goals) and becomes an attractive proposition for other teams there is no hesitation in the club selling him . Good luck elsewhere Steve and hopefully you find a proper club where you will thrive, be appreciated and more importantly…..respected.

This is a pivotal moment for the Cardiff city owner, I say owner not board. Because he and only he makes the decisions… does he want to go forward and if so spend some serious money or is he happy treading water and losing more of the fan base. Either way we need a director of football and some structure on the football front, a clear plan and footballing identity. Push the boat out and PAY for Nathan Jones and let him restructure the football side of things, and give him time

I'm a Jack and a Welshman and it's we the season has not long kicked off and Cardiff has sacked their manager. This is never a good thing to do and besides the Blue's ain't haven't had a really bad start! The Championship is always volatile at the beginning of the season anyway because two win can do a huge difference to your standings but to change a manager so early after the season has begun is dumb to say the least. The first Blue's have produced some good football and the players get into their stride for what the manager wants they tend to produce the goods over the season. They should have given his at least until Christmas and then judge his performance! Changing a manager so early on simply turns the milk cart up side down as progress has been halted and the player have go again with another manager with different ideas!

Shocking decision. Style of play completely changed and so many personnel changes. Even though results were not great watching the Bluebirds this season has been in the main very enjoyable. Nathan Jones name has been bounded around a lot in South Wales (and is a massive Cardiff fan) - if I was in charge though i'd take a real good look at Scott Parker. If Parker could adjust his tactics slightly and go a little bit more direct at times - then it could be a very good appointment (not sure how much in wages he'd demand though).

@@Walesktf He's not played an awful lot this season so far, I like him a lot personally, always gives his all. Desperate for a goal, you can see it when he comes on. With current injuries I wouldn't be shocked to see him play some part at the back.

@@Owl1995TTB we originally signed Patts as a right back, but somehow Warnock with a brainstorm converted him to a striker. Hope he gets the goal that sends you back up!

Both of our wins so far have been followed by their managers getting sacked. Thats how powerful Huddersfield are.
