We purchased Hilton Tuscany Village, 3,400 points. We don't need much more than a few weekday getaways, and we're used to traveling off season for cruising anyways. RCI Last Calls could be an interesting addition, especially as we lean towards more land vacations. With our first Hilton presentation approaching 30 days, the first presentation I know we'd be tempted by, we decided now. Thanks for all the help.

Ocean Pointe is probably a little more comparable to Crystal Shores, but the rooms at Ocean Pointe are not nearly the same. The rooms at Crystal Shores are magnificent with fantastic balconies. Most of the rooms at Ocean Pointe have a view out to the parking lot with a view to the ocean off to the side. Both resorts are very family friendly. More so than Beachplace Towers. The beach at Ocean Pointe can vary depending on the season, sometimes wide, sometimes narrow with a big drop off. We also like Oceana Palms up the beach. They have a great beach and free beach chairs where at Ocean Pointe you have to rent them from the beach vendor.
We come down around Thanksgiving every year (Convenient for both sides of family) this will be our third year in a row going and really like this site... always stay at the Sailfish section - do you have any insight into other buildings? any better than Sailfish? (we heard the Sailfish is the most updated, but not sure?) it is a relaxing place and in a good location with plenty to do in a short drive
Both Dolphin and Cobia are being renovated this year. Not sure if one or both of them will be completed by October. I suspect at least Dolphin will be done as it was next in line after Sailfish. We love Marriott's Ocean Pointe. Thanks for watching!

I’m considering booking a king bed with a pullout bed. There is 5 of us do they check or give wrist bands? It’s a trip and all of my friends are very tiny people.
I'll ignore the occupancy issue since that is up to the resort to police. I don't recall any wristbands, if they were it would only have been for discounts in the Marketplace and bar & grill. Of course, this may be different during peak season as we have only traveled to the resort in the off season.
