I love field hockey, I’ve played for a large portion of my life, (I’m a goalie) so it was really easy to understand… but for someone who doesn’t have experience, the only thing going through my mind would be “gosh can this camera person zoom out any more”

I play hockey too (in the UK we just call it hockey) but our goalie quit so I'm starting out being goalie, got any tips?

@@_BubbleIzzy_ ah okay, you definitely want to get used to shuffling before anything else, even though i’m a generally shy person, i felt that it helped a lot to be loud when you’re playing goalie

I am going into only my 2nd season of playing feild hockey (goalie) and I have never seen the defense wear face shields while starting a corner. Can someone explain to me why they might have to, yes I know it's safety, but they run right out of goal.

More space increases turnovers and space to score. The same concept is used in ice hockey at the NHL level during the regular season. The people making the rules would rather see a goal than a skills competition.
