you probably dont care but does any of you know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid lost the account password. I would love any tricks you can give me!
now that i think about it RMC has a major flaw in my opinion cuz if something doesnt work out they just abandon it like the topper track, the launch concept and the T rex (well that one isnt confirmed but they havent said anything about it for years), and they actually almost called it quits with the raptor but then after they put it on sale a bunch of parks showed interest, intamin and S&S will never quit on a concept and will just keep improving and innovating on their concepts, u can see how intamin did this with turning their accelerators into a red force style ride, trying to improve on their zac spin model, making their new taron trains as an upgrade for their rides that had inversions so they didnt need OTSR's etc, and for S&S, they made a new generation of the air launch coaster, they made the el loco to fix the screaming squirrel's problems and they made the axis to fix the free fly X's problems. this shows that S&S and Inatmin are not only willing to innovate, but be problem solvers as well, i remember from an interview on a former six flags employee this year, and he said they continued to work with intamin despite all of their problems cuz they were the only manufacturer that could solve the problems that their rides had consistently, think about it, that tells a lot about intamin (and S&S), and its one of many reasons why they are my 2 personal favorite manufacturers by far
Technically there is a B&M with 2 row seating. Diamondback at Ki which has a staggered seated train but it’s longer trains hold the same capacity as 4 across like the regular trains do
Rmc did not cancel the trex.. They're just not developing it yet. They first wanted to perfect the raptor before taking on a trex. Building with steel is still new for rmc so it makes sense they first want to build a few smaller rides.
tbh im rly excited for the new B&M stand up trains, as someone who has bad luck and hasnt ridden any standups, i rly want to ride one, but i want it to be a good ride, these new B&M standup trains have vests, so no headbanging but they are the new type of B&M vests so they wont tighten up like the older ones, the bottom portion of the vest restraint is designed to fit around legs, so that will be rly comfortable and feel more natural, the bicycle seat is more flexible and softer so it wont destroy ur balls, plus the coaster will be smoother, and the seat will literally move up and down according to the g forces, so it will act like a shock absorber and make u sit down more when the g forces are higher, which makes it easier on the feet due to the forces being distributed more evenly while also still giving u the stand up experience which if done right seems to add to the ride, its a rly nice concept from B&M, and im actually glad that they innovated again and brought back an old concept, on that i rly didnt want to see be gone forever personally, and B&M seems to be innovating more recently, and they will have to cuz parks will be buying cheaper now but if something is new and innovative an reliable, they will still take it
I could only see it at magic mountain, but no other six flags parks. And I dont know if it would be a 500 foot t rex. Even thought single rail coasters are cheap, 500 feet might be a bit too rich for their blood
@@Coastoons I honestly think it would go to great adventure (if anyone breaks kingda ka's height record) Magic Mountain will continue to get cheaper coasters so they can stay ahead of energylandia and cedar point, (like west coast racers). With the population nearby, I think it would probably be the best long term investment. They've added nothing good in a while, but still get some of the best attendance in the chain because of kingda ka. it's still not likely, but I could see it happening
@@d3th2m3rikkka the only problem with this is that Great Adventure already has there single rail, And some of the only land left near GADV is basically right next to Jersey devil near Nitro, and wonder Woman, and 2 single rails might not look good next to Each other, but hey, this is just speculation, they could, but I dont see it happening anytime soon, but Great adventure still might be the best Canidate for a SF park to get a Rex
in the netherlands there is a park called ''de Efteling'' and it has a coaster called ''de vliegende hollander'' (the flying dutchman) and it is not necessarily a water coaster but it ends in a lake which really couples the ride to its backstory, it's one of my favourites there!
I’ve seen/hear from interviews that RMC is gonna try the t-rex but that they’re gonna focus on their current projects first. Like perfecting the raptor and stuff like that before they start with t-rex’s
zac spins arent rip offs, they were the first ever free spinning 4D coaster, and S&S free spins arent rip offs for the same reason intamins new models arent rip offs, they are taking an existing model and improving on it
i have an intamin press kit in 2017 and it mentions the ultra splash with the same description as it has now, so that tells me that 2 things: first, the ultra splash was in development around the same time as the powersplash was first coming out and 2nd, it took a while for intamin to develop it which tells me there is a lot of new and complex things with it
actually the axis concept was tried before, by S&S themselves, they created the free fly X concept, which had the same axis of rotation but with winged vehicles instead of inverted/floorless ones that the axis has
the axis concept is actually very hard to master due to the unique and in a way unpredictable forces that will and can occur, u cant just throw any element on an axis cuz depending on how the seats would flip it could be too intense, and cuz of those flips it is a very hard thing to measure
Pulsar is pretty great actually. The intamin water coasters so far were pretty boring regarding the size, but this one should be very cool. Of course it's essentially the same as the mack, but that's market saturation right there.
I’ve been predicting the RMC treatment for Wildcat at my home park (Hersheypark) due to how bumpy it’s become. Seeing that GCI, the builder of Wildcat, has come up with something new gives me hope that maybe they’ll update the ride instead!
What makes you think the raptor isn't able to be customized? What's stopping a park from asking RMC to make a raptor that fits into one oddly shaped piece of land?
Thus far Rmc has only been selling cloned raptors (or going to be cloned in the case of jersey devil) If they do start selling the T rex then I think they would keep the raptor as their clones and t rex for custom layouts. The raptors are also meant to be cheap. Clones tend to be built to be cheap
@@Coastoons but there is still no reason for them to not make a custom layout if a park requested it. Also the intamin hot racer has two clone options available
Son of Beast already did a steel vertical loop on an otherwise wood coaster. it wasnt why the ride sucked, but you can sort of see what scared people off the concept for a while
T-rex track is with my quick (aka. half-assed) estimate about 3-4 times as much steel as a raptor track, so it would be considerably more expensive, though supports cost more than the track as far as I know. A giga T-rex would probably be about as expensive as a B&M giga, but if you add 200 feet on top of that, you would increase the price of the supports exponentially (height of the coaster and cost of supports is not a linear correlation), which would lead to a 50-100million price tag. The parks that are willing to pay that kind of money would also want to theme it, which costs as much as the coaster itself, and want to target a very large audience with their coaster to make back their money, which isn't going to happen with a 500ft monster. Therefore, the 500ft T-rex is not going to happen for a while, to say the least. A giga or mega T-rex could happen, but I am unsure of whether parks would put 20-30million on such a coaster, when RMC seems to have burned many parks and chains with trouble ridden coasters. Why not buy a giga from B&M, or a mega from a company like Mack or Vekoma, when their coasters are reliable investments?
When i was in second grade we had this program where we showed what we wanted to be when we grew up. I obviously said i wanted to make rollercoasters and i made a picture of a wooden rollercoaster going into a tunnel and turning into a steel coaster. Thats crazy that they r being made now!!
If you launch coasters you are consuming a lot of power to do so (you can blackout a small village).... would it be better to spend a few bucks extra and just make the coaster a bit bigger. I mean... you are losing money each launch.... but if it were bigger (with a lift hill) you can save money in the long run?
i have a medical condition where i can’t do inversions, do you have any good coaster recommendations without them? my home park is Kings Island and while Diamond Back is incredible, sometimes i want something a little more intense.
Orion is at your home park as well though that banks very sharply to the side on the first hill, but there is one moment of intensity with that helix at the end. The beast is also good with that rip your face off helix. If you really want a super intense ride, intimidator 305 at kings dominion (in virginia) is considered the most intense coaster in the world and it doesn't come close to inverting although it does have some super snappy transitions so without knowing your condition I would say look into that
I love intense rides, and I’ve been on intimidator 305. I grayed out (could hardly see at all) due to the forces it exerted. But when the ride ended I was fine.
@@Coastoons there’s lots of firsts coming to Australia in 2021. @@Coastoons yeah its in lotte world in south korea, i recommend checking out the pov its such an underrated ride, tbh id probably take it over some of the lower tier blitz coasters out there its that good
My list:
8. Intamin Water Coaster (Why, just... why)
7. Mack Spinning Back Car (Looks really good and actually innovative lol)
6. Intamin Vertical LSM Coaster (Glorified Sky Rocket 2)
5. GCI Titan Track (tons of potential but it seems like it will only smooth rough coasters....)
4. Intamin Hotracer (looks really good and I see a lot of potential with this model)
3. S&S Axis Coaster (looks like it will be cloned...)
2. B&M Surf Coaster (If it's a launch coaster, it could be insanely good and compete with Intamin Blitzes and Mack Multilaunches)
1. RMC T REX (need I say any more)
Solid list!
the mack spinning cars seem insane on paper, but when they are put on an actual ride they suck cuz they have controlled spinning that chooses not to spin them that crazy and the rider is designed to be pretty forceless due to the spinning
It wouldnt be a first wit two seats for B&M they have two family inverst and made the trains for steel dragon 2000
And amazing video👌
