Hell yeah. I'm honestly hoping for any kind of free movement at all. Anything that lets me jump or have advanced mechanics while on a wall, anything that lets me manually jump in different directions, etc. Stuff like that, I deeply miss.

You should experiment more with editing and unscripted commentary, but ofcourse also keep the scripted ones (cuz they are good aswell). These types of videos would be purely experimental and maybe worth it in the long run. I think when you combine your knowledge of AC games (or other games) with your funny side, that you could make some pretty awesome videos. (and ofcourse never force humor) But without dragging this comment its really awesome that you replied and I wish you the best! Also English is not my main language but I hope I said it all alright.

I would actually say that even though it looks like you have more control in Unity, and even though the advertising said so, I firmly maintain that AC1-Revelations still give the player the most manual control and freedom over their character. Unity is more concerned with looking smooth and pretty (and it really does!) while AC1-Rev were more about every individual button press and release.

I'm baffled at how good the game seems to run on your build, i have a pretty decent PC myself but no matter how i adjust the settings(even lowering resolution doesnt seem to affect performance) the frame rate never manages to stay consistently at 60. GTX 1070, Ryzen 7, 16GB RAM. Ambient Occlusion and potentially lowering NPC Count manually via the .INI File are additional things you can try to do. Unity is a tire-fire of a game, resource-wise. It drains *so many* system resources, it's actually insanity. Modern machines just were not ready for it, honestly, and a lot of my settings are lowered as well to be able to run it.

There's really nothing quite like Unity, either in the AC franchise or outside of it. It kind of stands alone as a very unique experience. Syndicate would be the closest possible thing to it, though. They're built on the same structure and framework, they feel very similar to each other in how the character moves and sneaks, and they've got the same big sense of city-scale.

For me it's first AC game that I have to pay attention to what I'm doing, first AC game that I can actually die in combat and have to be careful not to be detected. I recently played ezio trilogy and honestly I got bored in half of brotherhood but managed to finish it in gave up in revelations. I haven't finish unity yet to be honest but for now I enjoy it very much 💪🏻
Servers are alive but matchmaking is not. So you can play Co Op with folks on your friends list but not with Randoms. Join the AC Multiplayer Revival Server and find allies there.

No manual jumps in Syndicate, no. It's awful. I flip-flop between them in my preference, but most of the time I prefer Unity.

AC1 and Unity are both really special to me in that way. They're the two most Assassin-heavy games in the entire franchise. Unsurpassed in that way.
