@@faultline3936 more or less it's about idol groups fate when they reach the end of their contracts which mostly results in disbandment, most of which happens within the 7th year of their debut
Yes, Most Idol groups in S.Korea don't last for more than 7 years. Super Junior, Shinee, SNSD are a few groups that stood the test of time. And now TWICE is one of them.
@@faultline3936 There is a law in S.Korea for entertainment industry that makes it mandatory that entertainment contracts could not exceed 7 years. After 7 years, contract terms must be re-negotiated between the company and the artists (or their representatives) and if all parties agreed then new contracts should be made.
This law is the government initiative to prevent the so-called "hostage contract" where artists got trapped in unfavorable or even abusive contract with their agencies for very long duration.
If I'm not mistaken, the trigger case was a boy group that got "hostaged" with a 13-year contract with their agency who badly mistreated them. The group sued the company and won, and the case made headlines, triggering government intervention with the 7-years law.

There's ppl that don't like the outfits!??!? I literally love this whole Y2K thing they're going for and I've seen pretty much everyone else feel the same. Anyways I strongly agree with you about Tzuyu's vocals getting better! When I first listened to the album on Spotify my jaw dropped when I heard Tzuyu. She been improving sm in everything recently her vocals, her dancing skills, and she's finally getting her confidence back that she had when she first debuted. It's genuinely so heartwarming to see her improve sm and become comfortable with showing herself to us again.
yeah i do agree about how TWICE always trying something different in each comeback, but somehow its always has twice vibe which i cant even explain what kind of vibe it is.. it's all started since feel special era..
