I saw someone talking about a tape that she was thinking about putting around the edges of her paintings. It was a rhinestone tape she found on Amazon. Good luck! BEAUTIFUL WORK.

That turned out spectacularly! I can't believe you finished it so quickly with all that you have going on! I love this format for piece reviews. Have you thought to add chapters to the video? Not a ton, but maybe for each check-in, so if we get distracted, we can pick up easily at the beginning of that check-in point? One other idea, although it will probably be a pain in the neck, would be to get to see some drills being put down, maybe a few sections about maybe 5 to ten drills on a few sections as you complete it. Are you thinking your foam board technique won't work since it's so heavy? Maybe a dark blue edging would work, or maybe even a brown "wood" finish on the trim would give it a nice finish. Question: Do you keep the drills that you didn't pull out as trash, but wasn't easy to work with, such as the light colored one you mentioned?
@@Buffylove27 you have such great ideas. Really the only reason I got it done so fast is because I was on summer break. Now that I’m not, things will definitely be slowing down. I have thought of filming like the last few drills being placed but by the time I get there I always forget to do it 🤦♀️ I thought TH-cam would add automatic chapters but I can go in and add them too and that is a good idea. Some videos (like this) would be easier to break up than others. I’m really not sure how I want to hang it. I did think of the foam board but don’t want to lose any detail on this one. But I could do it like how I did the rose one where it goes up to but not over the edge. Painting would be easier if I could find the right color. That is one intimidating project! Great job! Have you thought of maybe using a curtain rod and curtain clamps to hang it? Maybe use gorilla tape or something like it on the backs of the clamps to keep the clamps in place. If it were mine, I would do a black or charcoal border. I wonder how duct tape would look? I watched another content creator use 3 different colors of tape to create a really nice framed look. She even did 45 degree cuts on the corners. I would love to see how you finished it. Susan
@@skems5 I have NOT thought about that but that’s a really good idea too!!! I am still struggling to decide what color to use. I recently heard of a type of painters tape that comes in a lot of colors and thought I’d order that so I can see if I like the black or not. And if not, I can remove it. And if I like the painters tape I’ll leave it or if I don’t then I know I can paint it. Thanks for the great idea on hanging it! I’ll have to look into some options. It’s still “laying out” which is an awkward one to leave out. Thanks again! Do you watch WIPs or how would I be able to show you when I finally get it done?
I watch most everything so if you out it in one of your videos I should see it. I wish I could remember who did the video with the tape borders. It was all colored painters tape and looked really good.

I love Randal Spangler's dragons! I just finished one (it was the largest one I've ever done but not near as big as this!) Do you seal your diamond paintings?
