In the states we need a paint booth and special facilities to get a good paint job. In Pakistan they get by with a gravel floor out in the open air. Plus minimal masking. It truly shows the skill of all of these mechanics and bodyworkers. While nothing here is done to ISO standards, The fact of these trucks have been around for decades in working order speaks for itself.

These trucks are mostly used to carry grains and other such perishables... from farmers to city wholesale markets and also from one market to another up and down the length and breadth of Pakistan
if i had money i would buy this truck ship it over to the usa and travel to all the fairs and charge people just to take a picture with it absolutely beautiful great work over there
These trucks must go through diesel like the space shuttle uses rocket fuel with all the added weight. That said,,,mechanics ,carpenters ,painters and artists all in one. Interesting build and as usual stunning artwork.

I find the culture of colored trucks in india and Pakistan interesting om a truck driver myself from Sweden drive Scania. But the skill of the Pakistan people in crafting i find is absolutely insane with the little resources they have! Extremely skilled!

It's more cheap to get a new one than to repair it. It's call Lazy and it will take month to get it done because mechanic can't do the job they have to send to different businesses to do it. 😁

There's only one dude that hand painted that whole truck during the drivers down time they travel very dangerous roads and the art is for good luck and safe passage though the Badlands
Very nice but you missed something. The sides of the engine and the valve cover need to be paint as well as the driveshaft and rear end. If you are adorning a truck as you do you cannot miss anything! One other thought. Above the cab there is a large area that is wasted space. Could you make it into a place for a bed and somewhere to fix tea or a meal? A door inside on the passenger side with a ladder could allow 1 to drive and one to act as his helper plus a second driver so you do not need to stop as often.
The amount of artistic craftsmanship that goes into these is fantastic. It shows the pride of both the creators and I am sure the eventual owner. How much does a truck like this cost (local currency is fine)?

Over hangs for show and keeping the tarps on there when the trucks fully loaded in sleeping quarters on these old wagons
