I really like his premise, but I got burned twice now by shale turning on the taps in 2016 and 2018, companies had no profits but had unlimited financing to bring online new drilling projects. Can we get Eric to cover the amount of consolidation and M&A that took place in the shale industry? I trust the majors to have discipline to not drill, its the juniors I worry about.

Catherine and Eric, thank you for the long form conversation. This is, by a considerable margin, the adult way to communicate. New Subscriber

Great interview highlighting the macro view for oil and gas. Hopefully you will get Eric on again quarterly as he is person of integrity and is worthy of our support in an industry that is so important to the world yet constantly under attack.

Thank you Catherine and Eric. Please have Eric back again soon!
Would be intersting to have an energy round table with people like Eric, Rafi Thamazian, and Hal Kvisle among others. Maybe even get Brad Wall in there.

Roundtable is an excellent idea. I’d just keep it to no more than 3 people so each gets enough say.

Great interview Cathy. Eric is mostly right with his analysis except where he does not have the right information coming from the producing fields, that might be in Canada, USA or KSA. I like his determination and I give him an A+. .

Catherine don't lose perspective! Meaning don't take some statements personally! What you and I are continuing to experience; are those who did what they continue to do. Don't worry. Put all efforts, Halifax Toronto; New York. It's all together. Do as much as you can; of what you're investing. Don't hold back. Get InTouch with Paris Hilton ! I look for you creativity. As far as the publications'. There's an necessity to accommodate legalities. I found it won't be so complicated. Regard; where I am, you are.

Have never seen such a disconnect between fundamentals and stock prices or a sector of ANYTHING so out of favour. I sincerely hope Eric is right and that he proves all the naysayers wrong.

You hedge so you an have a secure balance sheet no?
Like maybe preventing your company from going bankrupt?
Worked great at 2/3 companies I've worked at to get through the worst o&g droights

Hedging ...I prefer a company that does not hedge . The ones taking the hedges has way more info they are the professionals. The second reason...by hedging you take all speculative appeal out of your stock.
