Elvis Presley - Crying In The Chapel - 19/08/75 DS & 06/05/76 DS - Only Times Performed Live

There are only two known live versions of 'Crying In The Chapel' from the 70's and these are those two versions for the price of one! It is however quite conceivable that he sung it more than these two but at present these are the only live versions of which there is documented evidence.
The first was performed during Elvis' 19 August 1975 Dinner Show in the Las Vegas Hilton during the abandoned 75 Summer Festival and the latter in Lake Tahoe during the Dinner show of 6 May 1976.
The Tahoe version is the longer and perhaps more serious version but it always appeared that Elvis gave much better shows in Tahoe than in Vegas with often much more varied and interesting setlists.
