This is insane… my dad told me about this place when he lived in Phoenix in the 90s, he knew quite a bit about the town and told me about the mayor Les Payne. I’m so glad I found this video so thank you to whoever made it.
I remember being a kid and stopping for soda and snacks when the family would travel to Vegas and San Francisco. I stopped there myself as an adult 4years ago and was saddened to see it dilapidated. I hope it could get up and running again. It could end up being something for the history books
What a classic! I love this video. The first time I seen it was 1987 but it was after midnight. The next time I drove that way was daytime in 2016 and I was so happy to see the sign... I knew I wasn't crazy! God bless Nothing :)
Stopped there once in 2004 or '05'? It was when they were fighting fires in Sedona, AZ. It was such a fun stop on the way to Pheonix from Las Vegas! Kept meaning to stop there again, but put off too long! Did'nt realize that the old man did'nt live that much longer and that the place was abandoned shortly thereafter! Sad and disappointing that the Something that was fun that use to be in Nothing is gone and now is actually nothing!
Yup I was there no less by accident in 1986.Made a wrong turn from I40 and wound up in Nothing Arizona which lucky for me my motorcycle needed gas Saw,the jail and convenient store,.
I remember this place we use to travel from Phoenix to Dolan springs az I remember he use to live in a trailer but trailer burned down he lost his dog back then it was was called nothing but arizona in the restroom had some very cool writing from willie nelson George jones alot of famous people even the man in black Johnny cash it really is sad we dont have this place anymore
I was curious about the video on nothing Az . You said some one in your family owned it ? I would be interested in renting it to put a store back in there and restore it for your family . Also any information about nothing Az would be helpful thanks

Growing up, me and my dad would stop here every time we would drive to phoenix from Kingman. Too bad the place has been abandoned.

We stopped there in Jan 2012. There was nothing at Nothing. (except a sign saying "Nothing")
The only thing that is there is a gas station and a population of 4 people! O.O

I was there around 1985 it was unreal.

Thank you for the memories. I lived on the Santa Maria Ranch as a kid in the 80s. I had several ice cream bars from there.
