7 years ago when I was a little kid I used to listen to this exact video and want to read like him so bad. Allhamdulillah 8 years later I grew up to become a hafiz just like him 💙

Astaghfirullah for the dislikes and critisizms. He is reciting Quran with Tajweed. What is there to dislike... What are your really disliking... Check the intention of your heart. As we should always do. And make du'a for the brother as well as for a better life of this world. May the Mercy of Allaah be upon us all. For we are lost without His Mercy, Favor and Guidance.

Ameen - people, this is not a contest to see who you like better, personally I'd rather listen to this recitation of this particular Surah than for example shaykh Mishary's recitation so I'll do that, if you don't feel the same way listen to another one. Please don't dislike people reciting Qur'an, regardless of how you feel.

Brother @billybobhortons, you are entitled to your opinion. But I think you should refrain from judging people negatively. I find brother Yousef's recitation inspiring. My 12-year old daughter who just started reading the quran was so inspired she memorised this surah in less than a month complete with the tajweed and all. Now she leads her mother in prayers reading this surah. Let Allah be the judge. Allah knows best.
