This was the first song I heard by her. Fast forward 5 months later, someone called me to work on her tour, I totally forgot who she was and didn’t know any of her songs, I ended up working for her for 8 years.
If it weren’t for George Michaels original, I’d say this is a good performance/song. Considering I have to listen to this specific version at work 5-10 times a day, the original just sounds like music to my ears. I work with a few guys in their early 20’s and they don’t even know who George Michael is……sad.
