This video gives complete knowledge about tile fixing adhesive. In other words we call it Polymer Modified Tile Adhesive.
We explain the European Standards and Indian Standards.
The tile adhesive are available in following codings and specificiations
C0 - Normal Cement Sand Mixture, ready made masala.
C1- Good for installation of Ceramic Tiles or Indoor applications.
C2- Good for outdoor installation.
T - Thick adhesive with better tack and anti slip properties.
F - Fast Drying.
E- Extended Open Time
S1 and S2 - With better deformability.
So the tile adhesive can have following codes on the bag
C1T, C1TE, C1S1,C1S2
C2T, C2TE, C2F etc.
As per Indian Standards we have following codes:
Type1 - Indoor Uses.
Type 2 - Outdoor Applications.
Type 3- Large format Tiles.
Type 4 - For Dry wall installations.
