Many people might say, that Batra's style isn't that great to watch. But I love this diversity in tabletennis. I really enjoyed this match and strategic mindset. Manika Batra has a great control over her material and played really well. She deserved this win.
Really enjoyed this game. I will say that in the final set I think Wang figured out that if she was more patient, opened up more and waited to push Monika back into a longer game, she had the upper hand. It's a mistake some players make when playing against long pips players, even professionals, they try to finish the rally early. I find that the good long pips players are difficult to over power quickly, but if you patiently apply pressure the chances should come.
Pure Table tennis by Manika, she kept the ball on 1/3 of the table all the times. This is a very difficult strategy to play as most of the player now play with long ball final 3 game plan. Also, Manika used pips well in this game to trouble Wang Manyu’s powerful long shots. Well played Manika. ❤
Ouch. Batra got balls to attack after Wang passively pushed the junk return. I suspect Wang didn't have much variation in the loop as Batra returned the first loops very well.

We totally agree! 🎉
Not diversity, this style was used by a Chinese female great in the 90s lol
This style was used by Chinese great Yaping
@@washuneluvhada7616 I don't know how this disproves the validity of my argumentation.
Her style looks the same as most other players
People who dont like her style are crazy, its such a breath of fresh air to have some one playing long pips and winning at this level !!! Go India 🇮🇳
It's long pimples style especially made famous by the great Chinese player Yaping
I don’t see a big difference in her style from other players
As long as the rubbers are legal, it doesn't matter what one thinks. Its all about who wins, the loosers need to prepare for all kind of rubbers
losers*
Manika messed up Wang Manyu's game. Great strategy.
