Same, Agul with his blue color and badass way of fighting and treating his enemy (seriously, he sometimes just toy around with them or insult them with his body language) just make me want to be him when I was a child. He is the original Cool ultraman before Zero show up.. XD
back in the 90s, when ultraman was the winning toku before kamen rider became the winning toku, it was awesome! Now its a piece of shit for having no variety and reusing monsters that have already appeared in past series.(Toei had done this before but only in special occasions, mostly they will come up with something new each year). Ultraman is going to be dead no matter how hard tsuburaya tries
John Ng Tbh back from 1995-2005 it was the golden age for Ultraman,Super Sentai and Kamen Rider since then everything has dropped and to be fair all 3 has became more childish like look at Ex-Aid.....thats not what u call badass....the rider suits look so freakin childish but for build it has improved,Super Sentai for now still keeping its creativity but lack the awesomeness it used to have in the year frame i mentioned above and Ultraman has always had trouble selling toys before Ginga mainly because there werent much featured in the franchise that can be converted jnto toys except for the Ultramen themselves as action figures,but because of that the series was amzaing and wasnt so childish but yes it was because of this reason that the series formats changed and now the Hosts uses a variety of equipment from dolls to cards to coins through the use of different gadgets to transform all for the sake of selling toys. Im a big fan of Ultraman more than Kamen Rider and Super Sentai but i cant say that Kamen Rider and Super Sentai hasnt gone downhill either as all 3 r slowly going down unless they somehow return to the old ways of making their series. Ultraman needs to go back to having around 40-50 episodes per season like how they did during the Tiga-Cosmos era. Kamen Rider needs the drama and plot of the Kuuga-Kabuto era and Super Sentai needs the epicness and fighting from the Hurricanger-Magiranger era.
Ex-Aid's toy sales was way bigger than Ultraman Orb's even though Ex-Aid had a shitty look. Kamen Rider and Super Sentai are hardly going downhill at all due to their toy sales(low viewership doesn't matter, people in Japan mostly use the web to watch J-drama and toku nowadays). The reason Tsuburaya is failing as they are obsessed with the past and cannot move on to a new world where the past Ultramen dont exist just the hero and new Ultramen. Tsuburaya gives us monsters we have probably seen before unlike Toei which always gives us something new. Besides Tsuburaya suffered from low tv viewership even before the age of smartphones. Ultraman Mebius had a tv rating of 3.7% while Kabuto was above 7% and Boukenger 6.1%. Also, they still show gore in recent shows like Ultraman Max when Max cut Gomora's tail off and you could see the flesh! And sometimes the episodes are way too dark when the kaiju If is shown in an urban inferno as it destroys everything in its path, everything engulfed in flames, with no one able to stop it(Well, for some dumb stupid reason, the blind girl's music somehow caused If to fly away, stealing Max's credit for this episode). Also, there needs to be more Ultramen with human hosts who use their powers for their own selfish or otherwise reasons like Kamen Rider Ryuki: A journalist, a lawyer,a fortune-teller, a college student,a serial killer,a businessman,a detective, all riders! And fight for their own reasons to teach kids what justice truly means. If Tsuburaya followed Toei's footsteps, it would have loads of potential.
John Ng Ummm yea.....ofc there needs to be gore......kids love these stuff....if everythig was all nice and fine in the end as always why would ppl watch....it tokusatsu its meant to be exciting and ofc that means explosions and gore lmao. Reason why they cant like just move with and onto a new Ultraman is because there has to be a continuity where they exist in. It cant always be as if they r all in different universes its also because of this reason is like it cant be the same as Kamen Rider......they all exist in the same earth but yet the dont appeae to help each other where it doesnt make sense. Sure it may make it look like they r continuing on forward letting the new generation takeover the duties of defending mankind but it's also abit weirs seeing as they can help but choose not to. Ultraman on the other hand they r giant beings of light everytime they fight other Ultras r sure to know and if needed they will come to help,but ofc it causes backlash as it make it seems they dont wanna move forward. Reason for reusing all the past monsters is because all the new Ultraman series exists in the same universe. And as for kids well they like watching multiple Ultramen fighting with monsters. During the Tiga-Cosmos era the Series took place in multiple different universes leading to a stand alone Ultraman Series with no inteferences from other past Ultramen which appealed to older audiences around age 7-13 while the younger audience of around 3-6 felt it was a bit boring. When Max came they decided to go back to the original continuity for the younger audiences but received some backlash from older audiences as most viewers r from the age gap of 7 and above seeing as they r older and have more time for themselves and understand the plot etc of the show they r watching opposed to the younger age group which is always cared to by parents and dont rlly understand what exactly they r watching so long as it's exciting.
John Ng But yea overall i agreee that something needs to change cuz as a 19yr old Ultraman lifelong fan i find the new series is kinda childish and boring especially with Geed(one of the worst ive watched) i get it they r geared towards kids cuz they the ones buying toys.....but to me a older aged viewer seems kinda ridiculous, I mean the action is still there its just that it lacks the drama/plot which i find very interesting as it is applied to the cast etc. Overall Kamen Rider and Super Sentai r still doing fine though they r well past their Golden Age with Ultraman at 3rd place as u mentioned. Which is why im sad as Ultraman used to be everyones favourite.....and as Technology grows alongside anime tokusatsu is slowly dying as ppl prefer watching anime online.

アルケミスターズとXIGの連携を重視し、 我夢に絶大な信頼を置いた結果として我夢と藤宮と一体化した光の巨人の二人のウルトラマンと固い絆で結ばれた石室コマンダーも忘れられない。
我夢をアルケミスターズから引き抜いたのはコッヴを含めた破滅招来体の襲来を察知出来たのは元はといえばアルケミスターズのおかげで、我夢を含めたアルケミスターズのメンバーの協力がなければ破滅招来体の襲来を察知することができなかったので破滅招来体を含めた脅威(もちろんガンＱのような怪獣や破滅招来体を影から送り込んできた破滅招来体の主=ゾグ)に対抗するには破滅招来体を察知したアルケミスターズの一人の我夢をXIGに入隊させてXIGとアルケミスターズとの連携を取る必要があると判断したからだったが破滅招来体の襲来を予言し自ら志願してきた我夢をアルケミスターズから引き抜いた石室コマンダーの判断は正しかったと思う。
我夢を引き抜いた石室コマンダーの判断で結果的に最悪の事態は最終章までは避けられることになって地球はウルトラマンガイアとウルトラマンアグルがくれた希望によって支えられることとなった訳だし。
ちなみに石室コマンダーは後付けの設定で石室コマンダーもかつてはウルトラマンとして戦っていたので我夢がウルトラマンガイアと一体化してウルトラマンとして戦っていたことに気付くことになったのは石室コマンダーもかつてはウルトラマンだったということが理由だったらしく、我夢がウルトラマンガイアで藤宮がウルトラマンアグルだったことを周囲に明かせば我夢がウルトラマンガイアとなって人々に与えた希望を、藤宮がウルトラマンアグルになって人々に与えてくれた希望を自分たち人類が自らの手で壊すことになってしまうと知ったので我々人類が我夢と藤宮が与えてくれた希望を壊すつもりはなかったので周囲には明かさなかった(Wikipedia情報です)。

back in the 90s, when ultraman was the winning toku before kamen rider became the winning toku, it was awesome!
Now its a piece of shit for having no variety and reusing monsters that have already appeared in past series.(Toei had done this before but only in special occasions, mostly they will come up with something new each year). Ultraman is going to be dead no matter how hard tsuburaya tries
John Ng Tbh back from 1995-2005 it was the golden age for Ultraman,Super Sentai and Kamen Rider since then everything has dropped and to be fair all 3 has became more childish like look at Ex-Aid.....thats not what u call badass....the rider suits look so freakin childish but for build it has improved,Super Sentai for now still keeping its creativity but lack the awesomeness it used to have in the year frame i mentioned above and Ultraman has always had trouble selling toys before Ginga mainly because there werent much featured in the franchise that can be converted jnto toys except for the Ultramen themselves as action figures,but because of that the series was amzaing and wasnt so childish but yes it was because of this reason that the series formats changed and now the Hosts uses a variety of equipment from dolls to cards to coins through the use of different gadgets to transform all for the sake of selling toys. Im a big fan of Ultraman more than Kamen Rider and Super Sentai but i cant say that Kamen Rider and Super Sentai hasnt gone downhill either as all 3 r slowly going down unless they somehow return to the old ways of making their series. Ultraman needs to go back to having around 40-50 episodes per season like how they did during the Tiga-Cosmos era. Kamen Rider needs the drama and plot of the Kuuga-Kabuto era and Super Sentai needs the epicness and fighting from the Hurricanger-Magiranger era.
Ex-Aid's toy sales was way bigger than Ultraman Orb's even though Ex-Aid had a shitty look. Kamen Rider and Super Sentai are hardly going downhill at all due to their toy sales(low viewership doesn't matter, people in Japan mostly use the web to watch J-drama and toku nowadays). The reason Tsuburaya is failing as they are obsessed with the past and cannot move on to a new world where the past Ultramen dont exist just the hero and new Ultramen. Tsuburaya gives us monsters we have probably seen before unlike Toei which always gives us something new. Besides Tsuburaya suffered from low tv viewership even before the age of smartphones. Ultraman Mebius had a tv rating of 3.7% while Kabuto was above 7% and Boukenger 6.1%. Also, they still show gore in recent shows like Ultraman Max when Max cut Gomora's tail off and you could see the flesh! And sometimes the episodes are way too dark when the kaiju If is shown in an urban inferno as it destroys everything in its path, everything engulfed in flames, with no one able to stop it(Well, for some dumb stupid reason, the blind girl's music somehow caused If to fly away, stealing Max's credit for this episode). Also, there needs to be more Ultramen with human hosts who use their powers for their own selfish or otherwise reasons like Kamen Rider Ryuki: A journalist, a lawyer,a fortune-teller, a college student,a serial killer,a businessman,a detective, all riders! And fight for their own reasons to teach kids what justice truly means. If Tsuburaya followed Toei's footsteps, it would have loads of potential.
John Ng Ummm yea.....ofc there needs to be gore......kids love these stuff....if everythig was all nice and fine in the end as always why would ppl watch....it tokusatsu its meant to be exciting and ofc that means explosions and gore lmao. Reason why they cant like just move with and onto a new Ultraman is because there has to be a continuity where they exist in. It cant always be as if they r all in different universes its also because of this reason is like it cant be the same as Kamen Rider......they all exist in the same earth but yet the dont appeae to help each other where it doesnt make sense. Sure it may make it look like they r continuing on forward letting the new generation takeover the duties of defending mankind but it's also abit weirs seeing as they can help but choose not to. Ultraman on the other hand they r giant beings of light everytime they fight other Ultras r sure to know and if needed they will come to help,but ofc it causes backlash as it make it seems they dont wanna move forward. Reason for reusing all the past monsters is because all the new Ultraman series exists in the same universe. And as for kids well they like watching multiple Ultramen fighting with monsters. During the Tiga-Cosmos era the Series took place in multiple different universes leading to a stand alone Ultraman Series with no inteferences from other past Ultramen which appealed to older audiences around age 7-13 while the younger audience of around 3-6 felt it was a bit boring. When Max came they decided to go back to the original continuity for the younger audiences but received some backlash from older audiences as most viewers r from the age gap of 7 and above seeing as they r older and have more time for themselves and understand the plot etc of the show they r watching opposed to the younger age group which is always cared to by parents and dont rlly understand what exactly they r watching so long as it's exciting.
John Ng But yea overall i agreee that something needs to change cuz as a 19yr old Ultraman lifelong fan i find the new series is kinda childish and boring especially with Geed(one of the worst ive watched) i get it they r geared towards kids cuz they the ones buying toys.....but to me a older aged viewer seems kinda ridiculous, I mean the action is still there its just that it lacks the drama/plot which i find very interesting as it is applied to the cast etc. Overall Kamen Rider and Super Sentai r still doing fine though they r well past their Golden Age with Ultraman at 3rd place as u mentioned. Which is why im sad as Ultraman used to be everyones favourite.....and as Technology grows alongside anime tokusatsu is slowly dying as ppl prefer watching anime online.
The Neo-Heisei Riders were more for little kids due to its slapstick comedy and characters. Even so, I still enjoyed them.

XIGの隊員達はそれぞれ強い個性と濃いキャラクターだし、石室コマンダーは誰よりも早く我夢がガイアだと気付きつつも敢えて周りのメンバーには言わずに振る舞う姿もまたいいんだよなぁ。
Although I prefer beat on dream on over this, this is definitely one of my favorite ending themes in the ultraman series.
